American Hot Rod Legend Boyd Coddington has Died

The great American Hot Rod and reality TV legend, Boyd Coddington, has died, aged 63.

Here are two of Coddington’s most famous creations:

This is the awesome “Cadzilla,” owned by ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons. It started life as a 50’s era Cadillac.

And this is the almost equally amazing “Chezoom,” which I believe is based on a ’57 Chevrolet Bel Air.

    The Chezoom would make one hell of a Batmobile.

    Heck yeah that’s the 57 car, and a 2-door!

    We know that he didn’t undertake similar perversions on the 55 car or God would have already taken him.

    Should’ve stuck to Cad’s and Fords. Doint that to a 1950’s Ford would have granted him more time on earth.
