Sorry, bingbing. Forgot about you all in t’other hemisphere. We here in Oz are experiencing a rather uncomfortable Global Warming-induced cold snap at the moment.
Even been snowing in tropical Queensland! By the way, did you see what the education department of your home state is up to, Wamenism-wise? Wouldn’t be a teacher there for quids.
And would stay clear of the geography course. Still, you ask the average teacher or person; what is HardCrut? What is the Hadley Institute? Who has James Hanson had most beneficial links to since around ‘96? What is the main GHG and what percentage of GHGs does it constitute? What was the Medieval Warm Period? Is the Hockey Stick graph still valid? What is the mean temperature increase over the last six years? How much of total CO2 is anthropogenic? What percentage is overall (”human” and “natural” ) CO2 of the total amount of GHGs? What does ‘anthropogenic’ mean? Why are the terms ‘human’ and ‘natural’ differentiated? Why is CO2 a pollutant? What is the Urban Heat Island Effect? Could the shutting down of thousands of Siberian weather stations after the fall of the USSR possibly have an impact on average global surface temperature readings? Could weather stations, previously in the country side but now have cities that have engulfed them, be affected by the Heat Island Effect? What are sunspots? Has there recently been high or low solar activity? What comes first? Temperature rises or CO2 rises? By how much?
No, far easier to have Geography teachers just force the party line onto children: The world is heating to hell. And we’re all gonna die. And it’s your fault, and your parents’ too. /that’ll larn ‘em/
Until the end of their tertiary (if they get there) education, they’re fed the line of ‘your parents raped the planet and now it’s dying’, ‘defeating (doing what it took) our enemies is morally wrong (Japan WWII, radical ISlam now)’ whilst all the meanwhile being held to substandard account where basic things such as arithmetic, spelling, logic and reason are disregarded.
I ain’t 30 yet so don’t tell me I’m speaking through my arse.
I sometimes agree with Leftists when they say the West is fucked… yet it’s because of them.
Thanks assholes. Just when the human race was getting somewhere.
Still, humanity has won out before. Does the Dark Ages HAVE to be a millennial event???
