Illegal Immigrants Returning to Mexico in Record Numbers

Fox News

DAMN! Now what do our greedy American (owned by Dem’s and Repub’s) companies and business’s do?

DALLAS — Illegal immigrants are returning home to Mexico in numbers not seen for decades — and the Mexican government may have to deal with a crush on its social services and lower wages once the immigrants arrive.

The Mexican Consulate’s office in Dallas is seeing increasing numbers of Mexican nationals requesting paperwork to go home for good, especially parents who want to know what documentation they’ll need to enroll their children in Mexican schools.

“Those numbers have increased percentage-wise tremendously,” said Enrique Hubbard, the Mexican consul general in Dallas. “In fact, it’s almost 100 percent more this year than it was the previous two years.”

The illegal immigrant population in the U.S. has dropped 11 percent since August of last year, according to the Center for Immigration Studies. Its research shows 1.3 million illegal immigrants have returned to their home countries.

Now, why on Earth would they choose to go back to Mexico? They’re about to either have a President who suggested being lenient on illegal immigration a while back, or one who will bend over backwards to make sure he gets as many votes as possible and who is surely capable of walking across the Gulf of Mexico, if the media can be believed.

  3. Angus Dei Says:

Enforcement, Ash. New rules for employers are making it harder and harder for them to hire illegals: The can’t find good work, they leave.

I read some libtard gasbag commenting on this story, and he was pointing out that the return of these people will put pressure on Mexico’s economy… like that was a bad thing. LOL!

Of COURSE it will put pressure on Mexico: The reason the US HAS a problem with illegals is that Mexico’s culture is corrupt and its economy is a disaster. With the resources Mexico has, it could be an economic powerhouse… if not for the endemic corruption.

    Libtards never learn.

I have a different view on Illegal or legal immigrants. Millions are living in our great country. I am a Naturalized American and immigrant from Eastern Europe. Immigration is part of the fabric of life in United Sates.

If illegal immigrants are here to stay, and will not be deported any time soon – if ever – back to their native country, shouldn’t we try to reach out to these individuals so they can understand our customs and way of life?

While there are no easy answers, if we can begin to help educate illegal immigrants they in turn can become better members of our communities and help reduce the fear and misunderstanding that exists about these people.

These men and women buy goods, use cell phones and drive cars just like any legal citizen. So instead of hoping they know about our laws and how our government operates, we seek to proactively introduce them to our way of life and basic laws in order to strengthen and acknowledge the contributions they make to our country.

Adam, if they are illegal immigrants, then they have no respect for the Law as it stands.

They get all the amenities afforded to legal citizens, yet don’t pay taxes. Why should they become legal citizens and pay for what they already get?

Also, why on earth should America have to accept lawbreakers? Whatever happened to sovereignty?

Sorry to disagree, but I don’t believe that green cards and citizenships should be handed out just because someone crept across the border.

I understand what you are saying BUT, accomodation/assimilation is the key here. It seems as though these illegals want no part of assimilating, they want their old country, here.

The accommodation/assimilation is on OUR part, not theirs.

My parents were natualized citizens, they did learn American English, broken as it was. The assumption IS, you did as well.

  7. Rebecca H Says:

Adam, if you are a legal immigrant (emphasis on “legal”), then you are welcome, and to be commended for your patience and adherence to our laws.

Illegal migrants (which I refuse to call “immigrants”) have not respected the law of my country, but instead chose to cross my borders illegally in order to get jobs that should rightfully go to legal residents or citizens, people who have respected the law of the land. America, rare among nations, takes a relaxed view of newcomers, being a nation of immigrants as we are, but we are not a smorgasbord to be cherry-picked at random. Our generosity, our innate magnamity, is mistaken for responsibility for the misfortunes of the world’s other people. This is not the case.

And I would submit that the majority of legal immigrants to this country agree with me.
