And best wishes for 2009 – no matter how much Obama and Rudd manage to stuff things up, at least we can console ourselves that we conservatives are likely to be better prepared to handle whatever hardships eventuate than the wet liberals and euroweenies are ;-)

    What you said is quite true. Having survived Hawke, Whitlam and Keating it is possible many people are going to get a very unpleasant surprise but I hope I am wrong.

    In any case it’s nice to have a little cyber-sanctuary here.
