Please please please please please…
Somebody post a seriously yummy Sunday Brunch for me? None of that Asian shit either, Bingers. We’re talking Krispy-Kremes, bacon (mmm, bacon), steak, real eggs, smoked salmon-cream cheese omelettes, fresh strawberries with real cream, more bacon, fried taters, maybe with a Mint Julep on the side in honor of the Kentucky Derby…
Just. Not. This.

Old man’s partial to a mint julip, too. Didn’t know how how to translate last night. Had to shoot it straight up. Bloody noraybangs. That means singing room.
Hold up.
Shall have to start with a coffee and dumbae. That means cigarette in Korean.

Seriously. Can’t do all that mate. Did, however, buy some fresh chook stuffed in a cage eggs yesterday.

Got this off the internet:
Nothing suits a summer weekend better than a long, lazy brunch.
* Yoghurt & berry brulee
* Baked ricotta tart
* Breakfast antipasto
* Italian muffins
* Blueberry pancakes with mango butter and cream
* Iced rum tea
* Vodka smoothies
I think this menu would have to be a bit better than those dreadful pictured sausages!

Those. were. not. sausages.
Whatever they were, they were NOT sausages.
And the muffin was still frozen on the inside, and the little patty of chemical and color enhanced margarine on the side was frozen solid through. And the diced, tinned, sugar-syruped peaches? Puh-leeze…
“Eat, eat, you need to get your strength up.” Does anyone think it’s pure coincidence that they serve industrial-strength anti-emetics (Zofran) with brekkie?
My other sis will be out here later this week; I’m handing her your menu, Elsie – with a request also for a DVD of High Society, after your Bing Crosby blurb on Bolt’s yesterday reminded me!
Night, all.

Well, they do look like something but you’ve probably had enough Zofran already.
BTW, did you take a stash of Vegemite over with you?

A few people out there might be thinking about you.

At one stage the food for patients at the Royal Brisbane Hospital was cooked by inmates of Wacol Prison and sent over. Not exactly Rick Stein or Nigella Lawson stuff at all, I believe. It may still be the case.
I wonder how common this is?
