Typical. I linked this in Bolt’s open forum earlier today, because I thought some of the people there might get a kick out of it. It was the first comment in the thread.
The comment & link went up, garnered several replies, at least 91 people clicked the link, yet by 10:30am my comment and all the responses to it had been deleted without explanation or notice.
Bolt’s moderators playing silly-buggers again. Sigh. I give up.

I’ve never actually been “snipped” – it’s just that nine of out ten of my comments end up deleted with no explanation as to why – and in a way, that’s almost worse. Ah, well. “Thanks very much indeed” – but nothing to say about the comments that appear and disappear. Not to mention the trolls who attract as much – if not more – of the commentary as anything Bolt himself writes.

Both Kae and I were a little surprised that some negative comments regarding the recent moderation shenanigans slipped through on that “3 Million” thread – and weren’t later stealth-deleted. It would behoove Bolt to read them and at least acknowledge them.
Noticed yesterday that only 55 comments were let through on the Open Thread, then the moderators apparently wandered off for an early lunch and never came back…
And did you noticed that Monday’s open thread had 149 comments by mid-afternoon, then by 8pm almost all of them (120 out of 149) had been deleted without explanation, leaving just 29? No queries about that have been accepted.
So, yeah – in light of all that, his “3 Million Hitz – I’m Teh AWESOME!” post seemed more than a little “smug”… I’d say “insufferably so.”
