“And I put one in my arse”, says future MENSA candidate.

This story from Australias best newspaper will bring tears to your eyes.

Its the story of a young man pushing back the boundaries of science in his quest for knowledge, pyrotchnics and human endurance.

But seriously how can you go past a front page like this one…

Genius, pure genius.

A few choice highlights from the reporting.

A MAN who suffered serious burns when friends lit a firecracker in his bum says he was just showing his visiting mates a Territory good time.

Alex Bowden, 23, of Wagaman, Darwin, put a spinning “flying bee” winged firework in his butt crack during a party at a rented house on Rossiter St, Rapid Creek on Saturday night.

His mate Todd Lovell lit the fuse.

“I had a few lads up from Queensland and I had to put on a good show,”

…..

“It didn’t burn my balls or my back,” the fitter and turner said. “Just my fingers and my arse. “It was a pretty loose one, hey.”

….

His mate Reece McEwen said: “He screamed a little bit and there were a fair few f-words”.

But Mr Bowden denied that there were tears.

“You can’t sit here crying,” he said.

Anfd how is his family coping with the shame and embarassment??

Mr Bowen said his mother “thought it was funny”.

A long fisking of a stupid Parlimentarian

I caught Christine Milne (Greens Tasmania) on ABC news radio yesterday  on Thursday during the opening speeches about the minerals taxation bill.

The sheer “did she just say that” stupidity was breathtaking… That she hasnt been pilloried in the press for it speaks volumes about the poor state of political reporting in Australia today.

So Im going to fisk it a little, its a loooong speech, so it will take quite a while, her speech will be plain text, my observations will be bold.

The ACTING DEPUTY PRESIDENT (Senator Crossin):

Order! The Senate is considering the minerals resource rent tax legislation as a package.

Senator MILNE

(Tasmania—Deputy Leader of the Australian Greens) (19:30):

I rise tonight to discuss what sort of future we aspire to have in this country, because, whilst the specific is the Minerals Resource Rent Tax Bill 2011 and associated legislation, the context in which we are debating this tax is what sort of vision do we have for Australia in the next 20, 30 or 50 years. How you raise the money and where you spend it will determine that kind of country, because the future is actually an extension of the present and it is shaped by the decisions and actions we make.

Here Christine is using her amazing intellect to tell us time is linear, and actions have consequences… probably the highest point of her speech

More, oh so much more.. under the fold

Modern Australian education

Just received this bit of coursework from a mates son in year 8 school, Ive removed the names but its first hand, not one of the usual “internet memes” that you get 45th hand.

A year 8 English poem!!!   Bought home by ****** for an assignment. Opinions please!!

TIME IS RUNNING OUT
The miner rapes
The heart of earth
With his violent spade.
Stealing, bottling her black blood
For the sake of greedy trade.
On his metal throne of destruction,
He labours away with a will,
Piling the mountainous minerals high
With giant tool and iron drill.

The face of evil?

In his greedy lust for power,
He destroys old nature’s will.
For the sake of the filthy dollar,
He dirties the nest he builds.
Well he knows that violence
Of his destructive kind
Will be violently written
Upon the sands of time.

A pristine peoples nest, before the miners move in?

But time is running out
And time is close at hand,
For the Dreamtime folk are massing
To defend their timeless land.
Come gentle black man
Show your strength;
Time to take a stand.
Make the violent miner feel
Your violent
Love of land.
Oodgeroo Noonuccal.

My opinion?

What a heap of steaming greenie shit wrapped up in a “poor blackfellah me” story to try and give it respectability. The lady that wrote it was a Communist, and the name it was written under was her original one  Kath Walker, but plain old Kath Walker wouldnt sound mystical enough for the education department would it?

This type of bullshit propaganda completely ignores any of the massive plus sides of a modern manufactured life. Pencils, air con, computers, coal for electricity, steel, all used to improve the lives of millions of Australians.

Ignored for some mystical greenie gibberish which makes a fetish of a stone age way of life.

Another Australian underclass house.

Had a call letting me know a couple of my customers had abandoned their state house,  I went around to see if any of my goods were still there.

I was there on Thursday about 1500, and the house was locked up, bailiff notices on the doors, all secure.

Friday morning I went to the house with the lady from the Department of Housing, I beat her by about 5 minutes and found the place had been broken into overnight. Empty houses in an underclass neighborhood are an open invitation to burgle.

I confirmed a bit of the gear was mine (barely worth retrieving) and left. I went back a bit later with my other half and the camera, I think its necessary to document why some of the “poor” should be left in the street as an example to others.

The rather inviting front...This place was occupied for only around 8 months, on average it takes Homeswest a good 3 months to "take back" an abandoned property. Side of the house.

There is a very large backlog of people looking to get into Homeswest housing (government), due to it being cheaper than normal rent, and generally more secure tenure.
Yet people are able to treat them like this and walk away, homeswest know its useless trying to get anything back, and also know that in a few years they will have the same tenants applying again, as various houses (all taken under different family members names) are wrecked and abandoned.
My fathers wife is Vietnamese, her opinion “They should be allowed to die”, harsh but bugger me, the indirect misery and cost these feral turds cause is enormous.
The Homeswest lady tells me the place might be ready for a new tenant in 2 weeks.. Id be surprised if it was that quick.

Many more under the fold… Lots of piccies.

Forest rescue, brains of mush…

For those who came in late..

Forest rescue is yet another of those tedious self anointed savers of the world. In there world every form of industry and progress is bad and must be stopped, usually by pooling their dole payments and weed and strapping themselves to bits of machinery.

Unfortunately said machinery is not generally allowed to be switched on as long as they are strapped to it.

Recently 3 tools boarded a Japanese whaling vessel in an attempt to cause maximum drama.. The Japs havent played ball and offloaded them to an Australian customs vessel and they returned to Australian soil today.

Yes thats "captain" Watson visiting the ferals at their camp site. Wonder if they entered into a conspiracy to break the law while they were there?

I thought Id have a look at their website to see if they received any corporate funding, apparently they dont… A rather non-transparent organisation when it comes to funds.

But I hit the mother lode when I had a look at the poems/drawings section on the website. A psychologist would have a field day analysing this stream of bong-smoke drivel.

All glory to the Hypnotoad.....

A second one for your viewing …pleasure…

Abscence of organised religion isnt the same as non-religious.

Mohammed cartoons… again

A French magazine called Charlie Hebdo was set to publish an issue with a cartoon Mohammed on the cover and their offices were firebombed.

Mohammed says "100 lashes, if you don't die with laughter!"

Mahomet has buttocks on his head

Time magazine’s Paris bureau chief Bruce Crumley then wrote a disappointing piece full of vitriol aimed not at whoever the firebomber might be but at the publisher.

Although the current title is “Firebombed French Paper Is No Free Speech Martyr” judging from the URL the original title was “Firebombed French Paper A Victim Of Islamists Or Its Own Obnoxious Islamophobia” He opens with :

Okay, so can we finally stop with the idiotic, divisive, and destructive efforts by “majority sections” of Western nations to bait Muslim members with petulant, futile demonstrations that “they” aren’t going to tell “us” what can and can’t be done in free societies?

Will TSSA parody become illegal?

The other day I was perusing Ye Olde Journalist (a fine blog to which I am a contributor) and came across this item. It seems that the tools from TSSA (two S’s, because you can’t spell Schutzstaffel without the second S) take umbrage with the near constant abuse they have to endure at the hands of those they serve grope. H.R. 3011 would criminalize ANY unauthorized use of the TSSA name, logos, and such. It makes no distinction between use of said items in an attempt to falsely pass as a TSSA agent and the use of said items for parody purposes, such as the pictures contained in this post (click on image to display full size).

It seems to me that the TSSA is being rather thin-skinned and petty. This is, of course, exactly the kind of reaction one would expect from a federal agency with TSSA’s reputation.

If the TSSA wishes to make use of its names and logos illegal, then by all means we have to get as much out there as we can before it becomes a crime.

The following soon-to-be-illegal uses of the TSSA name are courtesy of about.com.

“Have you heard the TSA’s new slogan? ‘We handle more junk than eBay.’” -Jay Leno

“TSA says they are going to crack down on the invasive pat-downs. In fact, one agent was transferred to another parish.” –David Letterman

“This year marks the first Thanksgiving in which travelers will get molested before they get to their uncle’s house.” -Seth Meyers

“Now, to make it worse, the airlines are charging a $15 molestation fee.” –Jay Leno

“I get more action going through airline security than I did all through high school.” –Jimmy Kimmel

Okay, you get the picture. No need to belabor the issue any further.

There is no excuse for the excesses of TSSA. Having only recently returned from a trip via flying bus to Arizona to see my parents and brother, I can tell you that being herded about like cattle, stripped of your dignity, and either junk scanned or gate raped by a civil servant, is NOT what our founding fathers had in mind. The next time some tool tries to tell you that the terrorists hate us for our freedoms, take them to the airport and show them what totalitarianism looks like.

Just don’t abuse the TSSA name or logo while you’re at it.

Remember the live cattle trade ban?

With all the hoohah over the past few days over PM Gillard’s carbon (dioxide!) tax, it’s perhaps easy to forget some of the other current stuff-ups Labor is actively involved with.

Ten weeks on and there’s still no deal with Malaysia over a refugee swap.

There’s the mining super profits tax – not just the carbon tax – that our biggest industry with have to put up with.

There’s the $36 billion NBN that still somehow has to be paid for. Meanwhile, a bloke who just bought a new house can’t get a copper phone line connected – Telstra have stopped doing that – and has to wait three-odd years for his fibre cable.

And there’s the ongoing damage from the government’s naive decision to stop the live cattle trade (since resumed but so much damage is yet to be undone).

The suspension, prompted by cruelty concerns, was lifted last week and Indonesia plans to issue fresh import permits to get things moving over the next three months.

But Gulf Savannah Development says trade is still dependent on permits flowing through quickly.

The group’s chairman, Carpentaria Shire mayor Fred Pascoe, said it could take years to recover the costs from missing an important trading period with Indonesia.

“To be honest, I think we’d rather front a category 5 cyclone than the high pressure storm created by the government,” he said.

Mr Pascoe said it could take months to re-establish supply chain protocols.

Meanwhile, the Queensland manager of Australia’s largest livestock transport company doubts business will ever be the same.

Our Langolier government

Most of you probably remember the book and/or movie, The Langoliers. Those little creatures would gobble up, or destroy if you will, everything – matter, space, time – they came across.

In a sense, the Gillard (and previously, Rudd) government has many similarities. Everything her Langolier eyes set themselves upon, they destroy.

The list is unbelievable.

Governor Moonbeam strikes again

Governor Jerry Brown of Kahleefornia must have felt that he hadn’t left enough wreckage his first stint as Governer (1975-1983), during which he earned the moniker “Governor Moonbeam” as a result of his wacky libtard ways. Apparently he learned absolutely nothing in the ensuing 28 years, because he’s still finding new and inventive ways to ruin the Golden State. Ladies and gentlemen: how NOT to generate tax revenues.

Amazon.com today said it will sever ties with some 10,000 affiliates in California to protest the Internet sales-tax law signed by Gov. Jerry Brown Wednesday.

The big online retailer has been threatening to cut those ties since February. In emails today to its California affiliates, Amazon called the bill “unconstitutional and counterproductive. ” The bill is part of the budget package passed by the Legislature.

The affiliates are businesses and nonprofits that have Amazon links on their websites. When someone clicks through that link and buys something from Amazon, the affiliate gets a fee.

Under the bill, Amazon will have to collect sales tax on all sales to Californians.

People like Governor Moonbeam are not called libtards for nothing. Brown knew that Amazon was going to do this because…wait for it…they’ve been telling him so since February. And yet he STILL signed the bill into law! I wonder how many jobs (and the tax revenues they provide) will be lost as a result of this ass-headed attempt to put a gun to Amazon’s head and extort tribute from them.

Asshat.

Is this the radio interview that cost Julia government?

UPDATE at the bottom 29/6/11

Caught part of this interview driving around work today.

Its devastating.

Nice place, shame if anything were to happen to it.... Guv'ner

Heres the only bit of transcript up now.

The live cattle export ban to Indonesia is the last straw for one of the Territory’s well known cattle families.Bullo River Station, located 800 kilometres south west of Darwin, has been put on the market. The 160,000-hectare property is well known as the home of the late author and cattle queen Sara Henderson. But her daughter Marlee Ranacher says with no income since late last year, the business is no longer viable.”It was a progression of things that led to it.”Last year there was a weight and class restriction set by the Indonesia Government… following a very very long record Wet season.”Then just as we were about to send some cattle off, with 24 hours notice, the entire industry was shut down.”I mean, most people get more notice when they lose a job, don’t they?”How exactly are we going to buy the diesel fuel that pumps water for the cattle?”Where do they go? Who feeds them? It’s really really hard.”

Heres a link to the interview.

http://blogs.abc.net.au/files/marlee-ranacher.mp3

She pins the blame squarely on Julia Gillard, and makes a couple of extremely interesting points.

1: The ban is hitting at the critical time of the year for northern producers. Unless stock leave for feedlots now they will be trapped by the wet season. So even if Julia announces a “solution” in a months time there will be no way of shipping them off.

2: The ABC has colluded with animal rights groups to time this quite deliberately. She makes the claim the ABC has been sitting on the footage since January. I will send a query to 4 corners on this but dont expect an answer.

3: The land will be overstocked massively soon. There will be 2 seasons worth of cattle on the same land.

4: The excess cattle are unsaleable due to the 350kg weight limit on cattle. What will happen?

5: A whole seasons cattle will have to be shot.

I can’t emphasise enough listen to this interview, if you are strapped for time just listen to the last 1/2.

Its heartbreaking, Gillard and her green/4 corners mates should be pilloried for this, the deliberate destruction of a whole industry. Thousands out of work directly, and many, many more businesses ruined, truckies, helicopter musterers, feed lot owners. All ruined. Once that infrastructure is gone it will take decades to get back…. or Julia could declare it a national park… Just for Bob.

If you dont choke up hearing her say “we have to shoot them”… well you must be a greenie.

UPDATE: Bob Brown has announced his paries plans to completely stop ALL live exports.

From His speech to the national press club:

  • Rachel Siewert’s Live Animal Export (Slaughter) Prohibition Bill would stop the export of live animals for slaughter now – not in three years as in the Xenophon-Wilkie bill. Export of live animals too often ends up in cruelty and it also ships Australian jobs and profits off-shore;

Scandallous Palin email revelation #2

It would be funny if it wasnt so pathetic.

Large clumps of the MSN are making fools of themselves attempting a “gotcha” on Palins emails. The problem is they keep showing her in a better light.

Try these explosive revelations from the Guardians team of expert sewer divers/ email checkers….

They’re not earth-shattering, but there are plenty of interesting details about Alaskan life and work as a US governor that you’ve helped us find.

Here’s the best of what you’ve dug up to date:

Mama Grizzly once again demonstrates her passion for hunting in an email sent in January 2007 – reviewed by Mike S.

I am a hunter. I grew up hunting – some of my best memories growing up are of hunting with my dad to help feel [sic] our freezer…

(Oh noes!!, she knows how to hunt and enjoys it)

But in the email Palin is clear that she does not support “hunting the bears in the sanctuary”:

I don’t know any Alaskans who do support hunting the McNeil bears that frequent the viewing area. Many Alaskan and Outside visitors view these animals on the McNeil river, within the sanctuary, and, as my parents have reported back after their viewing trip, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see such beauty on that river.

(Oh noes!! #2 she believes in hunting selected animals outside of conservation areas!!!. Doesnt quite fit in with the scorched earth Barbie narrative weve been treated to for the last few years)

And now for the most damaging , terrible hugest revelation of them all!!

In an email sent on 7 January 2008, Palin discusses the potential of a “political attack” coming from the oil industry – thanks to Charlotte K for alerting us to this email. Palin is responding to a message from Patrick Galvin, Alaska’s commissioner of the department of revenue, which describes “rumblings of a strategy being developed by the producers and their allies to attack the administration”:

I hear from worker bees in the field that Industry is on a roll against us – on a rampage because they had no idea they wouldn’t get their way on all issues.

We need more bodies in Communications to help on this, too, so Alaskans know the truth about the situation and aren’t tempted to panic due to Industry spin.

And we don’t win ball games merely playing defense. We must go on the offense too.

(Oh NOOOOOOES!!! Palin ISNT a stooge of the big oil corporations)

On twitter, @surfbenet on twitter spotted Palin responding to the Alaskan Public Officer’s Commission’s complaint that the alaska.gov website was not “educating the public in a fair manner”. In an statement that may surprise those who know her for her outspoken nature, Palin emailed:

Let the other side have space on the website for rebuttal. And I’ll forgo my First Amendment rights until the critics chill and I can once again express my personal opinion when asked.

(Oh Noes!!, Palin lets her critics speak openly against her!!!)

Finally, we’re all been in the situation of being the recipient of inappropriate emails. So one can only imagine what Palin was thinking when she received a missive instructing her to “tip the kids, and bring beef, tequila and condoms” to party at LA mansion. In this case, we can perhaps forgive her punctuation:

Donna – did you mean to give this to me?????

Perhaps, we can deduce, not.

So she got sent an email by mistake (note the Guardians oh-so-neutral use of the term “perhaps”), and responds with about the most polite followup she could…

All these emails are in plain english, and this is the “best” theyve found so far?

Theres quite a few more at the link,be sure to look and laugh at the pettiness of it all.

Pathetic, truly pathetic.

Weiner Pulls Out

It’s the end of an error. Weiner’s out.

Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) will resign from his seat in Congress, heeding calls from President Barack Obama, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and dozens of other congressional Democrats, sources confirm to POLITICO. The resignation ends nearly three weeks of tumultuous political controversy since the New York congressman sent a lewd picture of himself over Twitter which he claimed at first was a result of a hack, and later admitted he had sent himself.

Weiner is expected to make his resignation official in a statement to the press at a senior center in Brooklyn at 2 pm.

Weiner pulled out at senior center? Think of the poor old women!

The schadenfreude has been beyond blissful. A creepy libtard is caught flashing his namesake. Caught lying about it. Accused of asking a former prØn star to lie for him.

There’s the name. The jokes. The throngs laughing in his face.

Good bye, Weiner. At Tizona, we prefer Bush.

Save Australia — Close London’s Decommissioned Battersea Power Station! [Updates]

Oh no they didn’t…  Oh yes they did!

Check out the nasty filth-spewing power station featuring in this ad pushing for a tax on Australia’s carbon dioxide emissions:

That’s right… an English power station.  A closed English power station.  Battersea, as featured on the cover of the Pink Floyd album Animals:

And yes, that’s a flying pig:

Beyond parody™.

UPDATE 2:  Now that’s better…  Say YES, We Want An Election!  (h/t Catallaxy)

UPDATE 3:  Oh, please.

Australian Conservation Foundation climate and clean energy campaigner Phil Freeman last night denied the Battersea Power Station image was used, insisting it was a “representation of a power station taken from a stock image”.

Tim Blair:  “They take us for fools.

$900 Worth of Monkey-Doodle and Baked Wind

Just a few years ago, Labor felt compelled to hand everyone $900, in order to “stimulate” the economy and save us from recession.

Yet you know that they’re now going to claim that taking almost $900 a year off everyone for their monkey-doodle and baked wind tax will have no negative effect on the economy whatsoever.

Wreckers.

Never Let A Crisis Go To Waste: Earthquake? Tsunami? Global Warming!!!

We all knew this was going to happen – it was just a matter of “when”.  As it turns out, it didn’t take very long at all.

Hours after a massive earthquake rattled Japan, environmental advocates connected the natural disaster to global warming.  The president of the European Economic and Social Committee, Staffan Nilsson, issued a statement calling for solidarity in tackling the global warming problem.

“Some islands affected by climate change have been hit,” said Nilsson. “Has not the time come to demonstrate on solidarity – not least solidarity in combating and adapting to climate change and global warming?”

“Mother Nature has again given us a sign that that is what we need to do,” he added.

Lee Doren of the Competitive Enterprise Institute has been collecting some of the highlights – er, lowlights – via Twitter.  See them here at The Daily Caller.

UPDATE:  “Global warming alarmists are to natural disasters what the Westboro Baptist Church is to military funerals.” Just so.

UPDATE 2:  Tim Blair on Anthropogenic Tectonic Warming®.  You know it makes sense!

Australia’s Carbon Tax: Brought To You By Julia’s Ratchet-Jawed Purveyors Of Monkey-Doodle And Baked Wind

In honour of The Labor-Green Carbon Tax They Promised We Wouldn’t Have, let’s revisit my favourite part of the lecture PJ O’Rourke delivered to the Centre for Independent Studies (@CISOZ) in Sydney a couple of years ago:

America has wound up with a charming leftist as a president. And this scares me. This scares me not because I hate leftists. I don’t. I have many charming leftist friends. They’re lovely people – as long as they keep their nose out of things they don’t understand. Such as making a living.

When charming leftists stick their nose into things they don’t understand they become ratchet-jawed purveyors of monkey-doodle and baked wind. They are piddlers upon merit, beggars at the door of accomplishment, thieves of livelihood, envy coddling tax lice applauding themselves for giving away other people’s money. They are the lap dogs of the poly sci-class, returning to the vomit of collectivism. They are pig herders tending that sow-who-eats-her-young, the welfare state. They are muck-dwelling bottom-feeders growing fat on the worries and disappointments of the electorate. They are the ditch carp of democracy.

And that’s what one of their friends says.

Although no one would ever accuse anyone in Australia’s current Labor-Green government (‘Seriously. Just look at them’) of being “charming”, the rest fits like a glove.

.

Update: We ask our Australian readers to ‘Just Say No to Monkey-Doodle and Baked Wind’ by signing this petition (5000+ signatures so far and counting) sponsored by Menzies House.  And if you’re on Twitter, please follow & support @MenziesHouse, @NoCarbonTax and Community Organiser par excellence @Tim_Andrews. Cheers.

Another day at work…

Im just finishing off another day back on the minesite when this incident report crossed my desk…

Door on bogger jammed, operator removed temporary perspex window to urinate.

Theres a reason we tend to refer to the underground operators as 'rock apes".... Still at least it wasnt a number "2".

It goes backwards as well.

Bob Ellis, Uberdouche, sponsored by your ABC.

Another stream of urine conciousness from the ABC’s pet hack.

His article is a tissue of phlegm and bile, its points searching for a fact to hang off.

But the best bits are his unscripted replies to comments. Heres a brief fisking of only one of his comments.

Bobs factchecker is on fire, wont someone get Bob a new one?

Bob Ellis :

13 Jan 2011 9:14:48pm

“More left wing figures though have been successfully killed. JFK. RFK. The Reverend King. His mother. Malcolm X. Olaf Palme. Salvador Allende. Hugh Gaitskell. Steve Biko. Che Guevara. Medgar Evers. Dag Hammarskjoeld. Patrice Lumumba. John Lennon. Anna Lindh. Attempts were made on FDR and Harry Truman, left wingers, and Theodore Roosevelt, a trust-busting environmentalist. It is hard to call Lincoln a right-winger. He freed the slaves, and all. Anwar Sadat. Indira Ghandi. Rajiv Ghandi. Mahatma Ghandi.

Please supply a list as long as this of right-wing figures shot at by radical socialists.

Or shot at by anybody.”

Lets go through Bobs list, remembering this is supposed to bolster his argument that lefties are at great risk from raving right wingers with rifles!

JFK: Shot by Communist/ex communist.

RFK. Shot by Palestinian upset by his support for Israel

The Reverend King. Shot by an avowed racist, who coincidentally was assisting ex-democrat George Wallace in his election bid.

His mother. Shot by another African American who claimed he did it because “all Christians are my enemies.”

Malcolm X. Shot by African American nation of Islam members.

Olaf Palme. Theories run from Fascist groups to the red brigades. The person suspected as most likely was a petty criminal and drug dealer.

Salvador Allende. Coup, overthrown by right wing junta, congrats Bob one so far to bolster your right bashing.

Hugh Gaitskell.Died of Lupus, are some claims he was bumped off by the KGB..

Steve Biko. Bumped off by Fascist racist government, Gooood Bob thats 2.

Che Guevara. He was actively fighting to overthrow a government, what were they supposed to do, send him flowers? He ran an execution squad in Cuba, so hes probably not who you should be putting up as an “Innocent”.

Medgar Evers. Killed by KKK member, who, coincidentally was visited in hospital by the local Democrat/segregationist politician.

Dag Hammarskjoeld.” No evidence of a bomb, surface-to-air missile, or hijacking was found”, not a good conspiracy to raise Bob.

Patrice Lumumba. Wanted to bring the Congo over to the USSR during the cold war, killed by his own government with Belgian and possibly US involvement, Ill award you 1/2 for that one Bob.

John Lennon. Killed by a nut, no politics apparently involved.

Anna Lindh.”His motive was not considered political, although Mijailović shortly after his arrest was identified on a photograph as standing in the front row of a crowd adhering to Liberal People’s Party chairman Lars Leijonborg delivering a speech.”  (the party is about as right wing as the ALP)

Attempts were made on FDR: Zangara confessed and stated: “I have the gun in my hand. I kill kings and presidents first and next all capitalists.” Not exactly Any Rand was he?

and Harry Truman: Puetro Rican independence activists, well known republican voters Im sure…

left wingers: An impossibly broad category, but judging by your efforts so fan not as many as you think..

and Theodore Roosevelt: Shot by an insane man, no political outlook apparent.

a trust-busting environmentalist. irrelevant to why he was shot, absolutely.

It is hard to call Lincoln a right-winger: He freed the slaves, and all. So regardless of any other professed politics this one act of virtue make him left wing. Sorry, that wont wash.
Anwar Sadat. Killed by Jihadis. religious assassination.

Indira Ghandi. Shot by Shik extremists incensed about her storming of a temple previously.

Rajiv Ghandi. assassinated by Tamil Tigers, heres one of their statements.”..we pledge our militant solidarity against western imperialism, neo-colonialists, Zionism, racism and other forces of reaction..”
Mahatma Ghandi. Killed by a mentally unbalanced Hindi nationalist upset at Pakistan being granted independence.
2&1/2 out of 22 which can be directly attributed to EEEEVIILL rightwingers, not a good average Bob… Grade: EPIC FAIL

The Pathological dishonesty of the left

Lets start with the headline shall we?

Armed Christians and Muslims clash after Nigeria killings

Gee looks like both sides are hammering each other there eh?

Maybe the sub heading contains more info?

Pastor and five others shot in raids on churches while explosions 300 miles away claim 32 victims

Now If I were a casual reader Id assume the “pastor and 5 others” are the Christian casualties and the  explosions were muslim, otherwise the headline is deceptive right?

Clashes broke out between armed Christian and Muslim groups near the central Nigerian city of Jos yesterday after Christmas Eve bombings in the region killed more than 30 people.

Strange, Christians bombing at Christmas time…?

The tensions are rooted in decades of resentment between indigenous groups, mostly Christian or animist, who are vying for control of fertile farmlands and for economic and political power with mostly Muslim migrants and settlers from the north.

Such a deliberate use of passive words, “migrants”, “settlers”, Still they must all be the same because they are all black, right Mr Guardian writer? If it was ANY white nationality “who are vying for control of fertile farmlands and for economic and political power with mostly white migrants and settlers from the north.” the Guardian would be calling it an invasion and colonialism.

Heres a hint Mr Guardian man, Not all “darkies” are the same, much the same as not all “whities”, “Slant eyes”, or “Curry munchers”.

Your soft racism is nothing of the sort, its just as vile as a neo-nazi knucklehead or KKK man, just expressed in neutral language.

In the north of the country, dozens of armed men attacked a church on Christmas Eve, dragging the pastor out of his home and shooting him dead along with two young choristers rehearsing for a late-night carol service.

“dozens of armed men”, any clue on what motivated this execution of a religious man? If the old South African regime had hauled out Desmond Tutu and shot him dead would they just have been “dozens of armed men” with nothing more said?

The group of about 30 attackers armed with guns and knives also killed two people who were passing by the Victory Baptist church in Maiduguri.

Ahhh, this must be the christian mob….

The assailants left after torching the church and pastor’s house.

Oh, maybe not….

Still Im sure there is some Christian violence mentioned, or the headline is a farce, surely?

At the other end of the city, Reverend Haskanda Jessu of the Church of Christ in Nigeria said three men attacked his church, killing a 60-year-old security guard.

Oh ok then….

Read the whole article at the top link, there is NOTHING like a clash, instead there is one group being repeatedly attacked by another, but in the world of a Guardian writer there is no identifying characteristic of the attacking group… Madness.

A google search with the terms Nigeria Christians attack, comes up with pages of attacks on Christians there, What group could possibly be involved?

This was utterly predictable. Christmas Island drownings

First a word of praise for the citizens of Christmas Island for their heroic actions in rescuing as many as they can from the boat that went down. Then a word of praise for customs and RAN personnel for the same.

Then an expression of sympathy for those lost, their actions have brought them to a far harsher end than any would wish upon them. Ive been to Christmas Island, and the part they appear to have hit is sharp cliff face, 2-5 m high and difficult to clamber over, a terrible end.

Finally a word for the scum infesting Australia’s parliament.

You did this Chris Evans

You did this Julia Gillard

You did this Kevin Rudd

You did this Chris Evans

You did this Kate Lundy

Your stupid, naive, idiotic insistence, despite all factual and material evidence that you policies had restarted the illegal immigrant trade, that there was no link is a bloody handed lie.

So what are you?  Ideologues for whom the lost lives are a worthwhile sacrifice as long as you can “feel” youve done the right thing? Or cold blooded psychopaths knowingly risking the lives of hundreds in order to appease the pro-refugee lobby.

I hope the screams of the dying haunt you you festering psychos.

Heres an extract from a post I wrote over at skepiclawyer a while back.

This will shock many, but Ruddock did the most humane thing in the world.

  • He stopped the boats.
  • He stopped more SIEVXs.
  • He stopped the trafficking of people by criminal gangs.
  • He stopped people being thrown overboard mid-voyage (not kids, this was murders)
  • He stopped the criteria for refugee protection being who could pay a smuggler.

I sent a submission to the new immigration minister when it was called for last year, offering advice and answers to any questions he and his staff might have on immigration detention issues. I received back a terse reply along the lines of “your experiences are out of date and irrelevant and won’t be considered.”

I have great confidence the new minister has already signaled to smugglers that their business is back open. When this leads to deaths, it will be as a result of people who are acting with the best of intentions to prevent a number of smaller evils (mandatory detention) which are easily visible, while not being aware of the much greater evils they are helping facilitate.

You are vermin Evans. Scum and slime.

Dont piss off your tattooist..

I know this is a bad thing, but am I evil if my first reaction was to laugh?

Police at Ipswich west of Brisbane have charged a 21-year-old tattooist who is accused of putting an obscene picture on a customer’s back instead of the image requested.

So how bad could it have been?
The 25-year-old customer wanted a yin and yang symbol and a dragon…

Now what did he get instead?

.. but instead was given a 40 centimetre tattoo of a penis and a rude slogan implying he was gay.

Something like this perhaps?

..It is believed the pair had earlier been involved in an argument.

You think???

Police say the tattooist will appear in court next month charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one charge relating to the Public Safety Act.

So there you have it, dont piss off the man making the permanent markings on an area of your body you can’t see…

Australia without borders.

Well it appears its nearly official, Australia has effectively ceased to have borders.

In a major policy shift, the Federal Government is preparing to announce plans to release hundreds of asylum seekers from detention and allow them to live in the community while their applications for asylum are being accessed.

Many years ago, around the time of the Latham election I was having a conversation with a detainee about the likelihood of a Labour government opening the centres and releasing all the asylum applicants. At that time I told the bloke I thought it was extremely unlikely unless the greens held the balance of power. Fast forward a decade and here we are, right on schedule.

Evil or just plain stupid?

Audio: http://mpegmedia.abc.net.au/news/audio/am/201010/20101016-sam-01-detention-release.mp3 Sarah Hanson Young wibbleing on about how nasty having borders are…

It means hundreds of asylum seekers, including about 700 children, who are currently in detention centres are likely to be released

Every child released, effectively making turning up with a kid a ticket straight out of detention and into Australia. This will have the effect of seeing more women and children on the boats, at the moment its more single men.

Senator Hanson-Young says issues of employment and education are still yet to be worked out.

“Children who are of school age will need to be going to school. That’s one of the things that I’m quite strong on,” she said.

“In terms of working, some people may be able to, because they’re up for it. Other people are simply are not in a state to be able to work as yet … My understanding is that the Minister wouldn’t have made a decision on those work rules yet.”

“Some people are simply not in a state to be able to work”… So the greens will be pushing for open ended welfare straight off the boat…how..enlightened of them.

She says there will be a variety of different options for housing.

“Currently, of course, there are families and children housed in detention facilities at the moment in Darwin where they’re under lock and guard by 24 hour security, where their movement is restricted,” she said.

“Even removing that restriction will actually help a lot. Parents could take their kids down to the park, make them meals as they see fit.

Housing: “Just open the centres and remove the guards” seems to be her solution.

Do you think it will cause more asylum seekers: “no that’s not going to happen its a myth and simply not true”…

The absolute stupidity and/or evil of this airhead is beyond normal. Australia has a tolerant and thriving society because we accept, to a large extent, that government of whatever stripes are actually trying to “do good” by the majority of the population.

This decision will see refugee numbers increase by a factor of ten over the next 2 years, Im willing to place an even money bet on it.

This is an act of political bastardry unequaled in the last few decades. Julia and her party have NO mandate for this at all, Im willing to bet they would have lost the election if they had so much as hinted at this policy turn around.
