1st In a new series, Mumblewatch.

The Australian public broadcaster is fairly renowned for its lefty bias, however in recent times it has hit a new low, providing a haven for a particularly vile anti-semite known as “Mulga mumblebrain”.

No accusation is to vile to point at the “evvvil Jooos!!”, and as a result it has been barred from commenting in a number of places. The ABC runs a moderated forum called “unleashed” which provides an open area for articles and commentary from people outside the ABC. All well and good, however its apparent sanction of jewhate by its commenters is beyond the pale. I have reported a couple of the worst ones for moderation, and as they are still present, I can only draw the conclusion that the ABC has no problems with blood libel and anti-semitism.

The worst of these filth is a creature Called Mulga. It is my intention to start a little ‘Mulgawatch” section here with quotes from the ABC forums, a log of comments “reported to moderators” and any responses by the ABC.

I hope El Cid will indulge me in this little vanity project. The following post is extremely long, and only comprises a fraction of comments from this poster. It would be extremely satisfying if a few of us could lodge enough complaints to embarass the ABC into removing such filth from a government funded website. please ad your own “report comment” by visiting the website and picking a couple of favourites.

Exclusive: Barak calls off German trip next week as Damascus raises war alarm

Israel’s security cabinet convened Wednesday, April 2, to examine the homeland’s preparedness for war. It decided to redistribute the bio/chemical warfare masks a few months after they were called in. DEBKAfile’s military sources disclose intelligence data indicating the possibility that Syria may transfer to Hizballah chemical or biological warheads known to have been developed for its war arsenal.

A few hours earlier, the London-based al Quds al-Arabi quoted Damascus officials as claiming that Israel is preparing a big attack on Syria and Hizballah. Syria was said to have ordered a partial call-up of its military reserves.

DEBKAfilereports that Damascus has placed its missile units on the alert after last week deploying two armored brigades on the Beirut-Damascus highway under the command of President Bashar Assad’s young brother Maher Assad, chief of the presidential guard. They were posted there to block the road in case Israeli armored columns attempted to reach Damascus through Lebanon.

Our sources also note Syria plans to release the findings of its inquiry into the death of Hizballah leader Imad Mughniyeh in February. Sources close to Israel’s defense minister Ehud Barak report he called off his trip to Germany next week because he expects Damascus to use those findings to put Hizballah on the spot where it can no longer duck exacting revenge for his death from Israel, which is held responsible for his death.

The officers referred to the Lebanese Shiite terror group’s rearmament with more powerful and longer-range rockets.

Obama Advisor Blames US Jews for Lack of Mid-East Peace

(IsraelNN.com) Once again, a furor surrounding US Presidential candidate Barack Obama has erupted, this time over a senior military advisor to the Obama campaign with a history of anti-Israel remarks. He has strongly criticized pro-Israel Jews in the United States for allegedly torpedoing peace efforts in the Middle East.

Latest storm
The storm surrounding McPeak is the latest in a series of anti-Israel revelations to tar the Obama campaign in recent months. Obama has long been a favorite son of left wing elements in the United States, but has been strongly criticized for failing to cut ties with radical preacher Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Wright has called Israel a “racist country,” said that “Israel” is a dirty word, and claimed US foreign policy was responsible for the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Another anti-Israel activist, Arab-American Ali Abunimah, has claimed to know Obama well and to have met him on numerous occasions at pro-Palestinian events in Chicago.

(IsraelNN.com) “Jews! We have already dug your graves,” declared Hamas official Mushir al-Masri at a half-million strong rally of support for Hamas in Gaza’s central square Saturday.

Al-Masri said that Hamas was eager to combat the IDF in any upcoming conflict. “The enemy’s exit from Gaza will be nothing like its entrance,” he said. “Gaza will become a graveyard for its soldiers.”

“Those who remain committed to the constant rights of their people, those who make an enemy of America and the Zionist occupation gain popularity,” Haniyeh barked. “This is Hamas.
