    The New York Times, makes this look like a child’s birthday cake being sliced, with the all sounds of celebration, in a child’s birthday cake slicing.

    FGM is a savage holdover from the primitive days when desert-dwellers lived in goatskin tents, much the same as those African tribes who stretched their lips out to dinner plates, or stretched their women’s necks to giraffe length, or Chinese who bound the feet of their upper class girls, crippling them for life. Abominable practices of primitive people. Naturally, the NYT doesn’t get this.

    Love the “neutral” tone the NYT takes. I think that “small piece of genitals” as they refer to it as being snipped is the clitoris.
