That’s right Kev, I fully support your need to go to East Timor.
The East Timorese don’t have anything more important to do than protect you following an assassination attempt on their leader.
You again show your illuminating brilliance.

Oh, pul-eeeze. And I’ve heard lefties justifying his 5-hour drop-in on Gusmao by saying, “Well, John Howard went to Iraq on Anzac Day!” **bangs head against wall** Bit of a difference between what Mr Howard did in visiting our troops, and Kevin “dropping in on” the leader of East Timor for a few hours in the aftermath of an assassination attempt, acting like the Big White Bwana and expecting the top brass to just drop everything in the middle of a major crisis to kowtow to him.

Quite right Spot. John Howard never dropped in on anyone to get his face in the papers at what has got to be the most fucking inappropriate time possible. Howard also would never have even dreamed of doing what Rudd’s done here.
Kev,
Smarten the fuck up!

And didn’t Kev also try to throw a little mud on Howard, hinting that this might not have happened had we had more troops there?
But Kevin! Your man Stevo just went to the UN in New York and told them all that Australia was going to strengthen its bonds with them, that now that Howard was out it was going to be “UN All The Way!”
Make up your mind – did the UN do a great job in East Timor or what?

Sounds Like a very dangerous place for Kevni to go to. We can only hope for the best. 🙂
