Culture Wars Over

It’s a shame we’ve silenced those lefties so much, isn’t it?

What? You don’t remember those column inches of Robbie Manne’s or Dave Marr’s talking all about how they can’t get their opinions out there because of our former HoWARd Overlords?

Internet Survey: Why People First Went Online — and Why They Stayed

From Pew Research (Internet & American Life Project), “A Portrait of Early Adopters: Why People First Went Online –and Why They Stayed.” Some interesting excerpts:

“Our canvassing of longtime internet users shows that the things that first brought them online are still going strong on the internet today. Then, it was bulletin boards; now, it’s social networking sites. Then, it was the adventure of exploring the new cyberworld; now, it’s upgrading to broadband and wireless connections to explore even more aggressively.

“Yet there are changes in their activities and motives. In the early days, most internet users consumed material from websites. These days they are just as likely to produce material. One common refrain is that they think more change lies ahead and they are eager to watch and participate.

“Though people might assume that the rapid uptake of the internet by businesses was the main driver of growth in the past decade, many of our respondents said they first went online for personal reasons, rather than professional or educational reasons. Fully 50% of the respondents stated they first went online for “personal” reasons; 31% said work was the cause; 19% said school was the cause. In fact, in a series of Pew Internet surveys going back to 2000, respondents have continuously cited personal reasons above work-related or school-related reasons as the cause for their first using the internet.” (full report here.)

We have bloggers here at Tizona’s who were some of those “early adopters,” and some who have never really known a world without the Internet. It’d be interesting to know why you first went online, what you did then, and how you’ve changed the way you use it. But, no goatse!!!

Hello to the men of the 601st Aviation Support Battaltion. Like me, you too have fallen under the spell of Gina Elise.

Actually, guys, you pretty much sum up the problem I have as a Pinups For Vets supporter. I like to think of myself as Gina’s number one fan, but clearly, there’s no shortage of rivals for that spot. My problem is that most of them are

(a) younger and fittter than me; and

(b) competent with firearms.

I shrug my shoulders with a philosophical sigh. We all need something to keep us humble.

More love from those tolerant, compassionate lefties

Hah, Andrew Bolt – you thought you had fans! Michelle Malkin shares a message of hope and change from a tolerant, compassionate Obama supporter:

subject Bitch, you’re retarded and your thoughts on Madame President Obama doesn’t count

Michelle Malkin,
No matter how many white men you fuck and no matter how many white asses you kiss, you will always be “A wanna be white woman”, silly ass Bitch..

Except Bitch,” 2 asians fucking, don’t make a white”. Do you really think Mrs. Obama gives a fuck about what you think about her?

You have a lot to be thankful for Bitch, fucking a white man gave you a good life in America, a life you could never have where your fucking ancestors were born.

Just be thankful that your lack of self decency allowed you to suck the white man’s dick to get where you are in life, you fucking sell out cunt.

Show me the white woman named Ming Lee Malkin, but there’s tons of sell out Asian Bitches like yourself who think nothing of naming your Asian and bi-racial
children white names. Blacks have white names because of Slavery, you have white names and semen in your body because you hate yourself and your slant eyes.
You pray that your bi-racial child by a white man will come out more white than Asian.

No wonder the white man loves Asia to fill out all of his pedophile tendencies, you Bitches will move in with him and let him fuck your children just as long as he’ll give you his credit card and allow you to pretend that you’re an honorary white woman. BITCH PLEASE.

FYI HO: “Fuck you and the Bitch (your mother) that had you.”

Now how’s that for free speech, silly dumb ass HO?

Wow. Feel the love. It really is true – nobody hates like the Left.

Russians and Islamists for Obama!

What is it about Barack Hussein Obama which so endears him to former Commies and hard-line Islamists?

From Russia Blog – Russians for Obama:

Some of Russia Blog’s Russian friends … like Mr. Obama’s goal of withdrawing the troops from Iraq and agree with his health care and education policies. Other Russians are more concerned about Russia, and don’t like the anti-Putin rhetoric of Senators John McCain and Hillary Clinton. (It is important to remember that Vladimir Putin still enjoys nearly 80 percent approval rating, and most Russians view themselves as enjoying more freedom and wealth today than ever before in their country’s thousand-year history.)

John McCain’s “I looked into his eyes, and I saw K-G-B,” or Hillary Clinton’s “Putin has no soul” aren’t helpful and don’t play well with Russians who think seriously about the future of the U.S.-Russia relationship.

From AFP:

Delegates at a US-Islamic forum voiced support on Monday for US presidential hopeful Barack Obama[.] Obama, who is vying to become the first black president of the United States, won overwhelming support in a mock election by more than 200 American and Muslim delegates at the US-Islamic World Forum in the Qatari capital.

Many Muslim delegates said they hoped to see Obama win the Democratic nomination and go on to be elected next November to succeed US President George W. Bush.

[Islamic television preacher Amr] Khaled told the forum that he speaks “on behalf of millions of Muslim youth who seek work, respect and freedom,” and urged the next US administration to “solve the political problems in Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan, and not to mix between Muslims and extremists.”

“The Indonesian people would love to see a (US) president who has studied at an elementary school in Jakarta,” Din Syamsuddin, chairman of Muhammadiyah, one of Indonesia’s largest Islamic organisations, told AFP in a reference to Obama.

Ah yes, our Obama, beloved by the KGB-fans, Islamists and Marxists of the world. HELLOOOO? Are no alarm bells going off here?

Would you like ice with that, sir?

Greek cafe

This cafe in northern Greece demonstrates the severe global warming that has affected most of the northern hemisphere recently (Britain, one of the few countries spared from freezing, is lamenting the early blooming of their flowers – and blaming what, do you think?). In parts of China, a state of emergency exists and the bill is expected to top $25 billion.

“But it really is remarkable how little attention has been paid to the extraordinary weather events which in recent weeks have been affecting other parts of the world.”

Remarkable? Perhaps. Unexpected? Um, no…

Iran nuclear plans of “serious concern”: U.N. body…S.S.D.D.

VIENNA (Reuters) – The U.N. nuclear watchdog said on Friday Iran had failed to explain Western intelligence reports showing explosives and missile work linked to the production of atomic bombs and that this was a “serious concern”.

But the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) also said Iran had increased cooperation with U.N. inspectors in the past few months.

Many Blacks Worry About Obama’s Safety

Read at your will Breibart

Wake Up, America…We could be heading to, as the song below will indicate The Danger Zone…Some will be in this Thread, some has been [Restricted until November 5, 2008] on orders of one Ms. Michelle LaVaughn Robinson. Now known as Mrs. Michelle Obama.

This is linked to…

Stay with me now, people…a couple (well OK, I lied maybe another one or two links….

Michelle Obama’s Princeton thesis is restricted until November 5, 2008. Why? It depends when the restriction was instituted. The answer to the why is simpler. Michelle’s jaundiced view of the US may have at least in part originated in her Princeton experience. She has admitted that her grades did not earn her the right to attend the top colleges she did. Affirmative action did but it did not make her grateful merely resentful. Unfortunately instead of blaming her inadeqacy, she blamed her pigmentation and the institution which made her feel inadequate. I have taught long enough to know that students know when they are graded fairly and fairly includes too lenietely. Michelle seems to have been unhappy about the low expectation liberal Princeton had for her and her fellow affrimative action students. Indeed, she wrote a thesis on the subject which includes the following:

“My experiences at Princeton have made me far more aware of my ‘Blackness’ than ever before,” she wrote in the introduction to her sociology thesis, “Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community.” “I have found that at Princeton, no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my White professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really didn’t belong.”

The rest must be worse. Barak may be on his way to becoming our first affirmative action president. Imagine how they are going to fill in the White House?!

If you choose not to see Tom Cruise…Close your damn eyes…but listen to the song…The above links are why I posted this song.

WHY, why on earth would a prospective First Lady “restrict access to her thesis”? I know my answer, what is YOUR answer?

God Damn it all to hell…Forgot (you guessed it) another FRIGGING LINK…I present to you, one Mr. Jules Crittenden

My first thread. Thought I’d start at the top. Reagan quotes.

“Here’s my strategy on the Cold War: We win, they lose.”

“The most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”

“No arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women.”

“I have wondered at times about what the Ten Commandments would have looked like if Moses had run them through the U.S. Congress.”

“The taxpayer: That’s someone who works for the federal government but doesn’t take the civil service exam.”

“Government is like a baby: An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other.”

“If we ever forget that we’re one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”

“I’ve laid down the law, though, to everyone from now on about anything that happens: no matter what time it is, wake me, even if it’s in the middle of a Cabinet meeting.”

“It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first. Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.”

“Politics is not a bad profession. If you succeed there are many rewards, if you disgrace yourself you can always write a book.”

“Of the four wars in my lifetime none came about because the U.S. was too strong.”
