Australia clearly doesn’t tax us poor residents enough if they’ve started to tax English folks.

It looks to me as if Fluin, Kathryn Julia, has been taking lessons from Einfeld, Marcus (Justice),
at least David Smart seems to still be breathing 🙂
March 27, 2008, 4:27 am at 4:27 am
Yeah, saw that today but this is what gets me even more.
Mr Smart was fined $196 for driving 8km/hr over the speed limit in the Adelaide Hills, despite the fact he has never been to Australia.
That’s a bit harsh!

Ha ha ha. Good pickup Tim, I hadn’t thought of him. What’s happening with Einfeld anyway?
Bingbing, I suspect he “got caught” during a blitz to get a fine that big.
March 27, 2008, 7:14 am at 7:14 am
I’m not sure what is happening with him either, he seems to have slipped under the radar!
March 27, 2008, 7:22 am at 7:22 am
“…slipped under the radar!”
LOL! Isn’t that what got his greedy ass nailed in the first place?
March 27, 2008, 7:33 am at 7:33 am
It was Ash, lucky for some that they can fight it. I landed a $150 fine in January, (or maybe it was in the middle of February, around the 14th, I’m not sure now, anyway, I’m sure there was a special reason to get home quickly!) for being 19 kms over the limit, but, in my defense, I was in a hurry anyway.

14th of February huh Tim? You must have been rushing home to some lucky lady for Valentine’s Day.
19kms? That’s pretty quick. To only get $150, you must have been pulled over by some nice copper.
March 27, 2008, 9:24 am at 9:24 am
I certainly was Ash, she is very special to me, and the evening of the 14th was a real turning point in our relationship. My apologies to all who are reading this comment, but I’m sure you have all had that ‘special moment’ !
Well, he actually clocked me at 21kms over the limit, which would have been a $200 fine and three points, but I ‘fessed up straight away and he downgraded my speed, which was cool of him.
