Not just Hillary’s…Hussein’s as well. Just keep your head low, McCain. Brush up on rhetorical mysticism, and how to counteract it, just in case Hussein the Messiah wins this thing for the donkeys (a more fitting animal, could not have been picked).
This ‘thing‘ will go down in history, as THE low point of America, not our fighting for others freedoms, but this asinine Democrat, saying campaign would give the word, campaign, a bad name….Spectacle, is more apt.
PHILADELPHIA – Perhaps the analogy was inevitable: Hillary Rodham Clinton as Rocky Balboa, the scrappy underdog boxer from Philadelphia memorably depicted in the 1976 Oscar-winning film. Even if Rocky did lose his first big fight. Addressing a meeting of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO Tuesday, the former first lady and New York senator said that she, like Rocky, wasn’t a quitter.

Oh no. No no. This was never sublime. Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony conducted by Sir Georg Solti is sublime: Nothing political is ever sublime.
No, this race has gone from the merely ridiculous to the abjectly inane.

I think she was in the first “Rockie”, the cold locker scene …
Cheers

I liken her more to Joan Crawford.
(and I mean that in the Mommy Dearest sense)
April 2, 2008, 4:02 am at 4:02 am
At least Crawford was a producer, offering her public something for their money. She was also a good businesswoman. As for her private life, that is and was none of my business (but I don’t believe her avaricious child, who made her money on her mother’s back). Hillary is just the opposite. She informs the peons (and we’re all peons) that she isn’t going to allow them to keep the money they’ve earned. She needs it to make herself look good — always remember the Noble Ideal — and to express her power over the people she is begging to put her in office. Of course, Obama isn’t any better. Everyone talked about his race speech, but ignored his invitation to rank socialism. Keeping to his theme, today he told us all that he wasn’t going to allow business to take care of their own business, what with them being inherently evil and all, with their “wind-fall profits”. Of course, no one has defined just what the acceptable margin of profit is for any business, just as no one ever discusses what a particular industry must do to make a profit and actually stay in business. They definitely don’t talk about what right they have to loot any private business, beyond the “greatest good for the greatest number,” which is the essence of the Noble Ideal. To hell with those who have done the work and taken the risks, not to mention those whose property is being “legally” stolen.
We are witnessing a remarkably honest power grab over every citizen, and I see very little said about it all. It scares the life out of me, frankly.
NAME YOUR STATISM!

OK, then Salty, I liken her more to Madonna.
They both know better than the rest of us and claim to have ‘served’ millions (in one capacity or another).
April 2, 2008, 12:19 pm at 12:19 pm
In the Madonna case that might be “serviced”.
In Clintons’ case we’ll just leave it at screwed.;).

Texas Bob, now you’ve said something I can completely agree with!
