It’s more good news out of Iraq. Incidentally Dave S. would like to hear from anyone who thinks they might have found his missing surname. The bank manager’s getting antsy and complaining about those incomplete signatures on his cheques.

I hope that young soldier makes it to the US. If he happens to be in flyover country, all he has to do is mention he served in the middle east and he’ll never have to buy his own beer (and in most places, he won’t even have to drink our watery American stuff).

He’s welcome here anytime. We happen to have a nice little brewery run by a German immigrant here, which I’d be happy to show him. Excellent German food, too… Not to mention some of the best Tex-Mex in the universe.
