i don’t know. reading his comments.. well they weren’t rude. he may be mistaken in his beliefs but that is no reason to ban someone. if we continue to state that the debate must be allowed then we must allow all to debate. banning someone who doesn’t agree is rather leftist, don’t you think?
I agree with Missredi. Dan hasn’t been abusive, and in fact has tried to be polite. He merely disagrees (tiresomely repeating himself, I admit), but if we’re to be fair, everybody has the right to disagree. It’s only KosKids and AnonymousLefty types who ban those just for disagreeing.
It’s hard to blame someone too much for accepting the opinion which has been drilled into all of us over recent years, from people who once had reputations. He just needs to open his mind a bit and play devil’s advocate; then, if he has half a brain, he’ll soon discover there’s way too much doubt to justify carbon cuts etc.
I don’t think he should be banned unless he becomes abusive. So far he hasn’t been. I will admit though, he is tiresomely repetitive, slightly arrogant, factually incorrect, and incredibly outdated in many of his sources. Not to mention his constant moving of the goalposts when he doesn’t have a response to an argument.
