This may be struck down, or reversed as it is NOT SCOTUS. BUT with SOME SCOTUS recent decisions, who knows..

Part of this entry reads thusly:

Google must divulge the viewing habits of every user who has ever watched any video on YouTube, a US court has ruled.

Hope you like my choice in music, black robed Taliban. You know, maybe Hussein Obama is right. Time for “change”. Mine would be armed “change” Obama, what do you think?

God, please, please, please, please, please let them have to watch every video on YouTube ever watched!

It’ll keep them too busy to do real damage!

  2. Col. Milquetoast Says:

They’ll be saying to themselves “I can’t believe someone wasted an hour watching this pointless albeit amusing crap”

At least that’s what I say to myself after I visit youtube.

I have no problem with this. As long as Viacom and Co have no problem showing records of every music/cd/movie purchase Ive ever made.

The fact theyve studiously avoided keeping records of individuals rights to certain copyrighted materials proves tp me they are much more happy fishing for punitive damages than getting copyright in order.

And whats my rights to an album I brought 25 years ago? If i paid for that music when did my right to hear it expire?
If I brought the same copy of a song 3 or 4 times because the physical product it was stored on deteriorated will they reimburse me?

Viacom and Co can go and get a big wooly bull up ’em for this.

  4. nilk Says:

They’d have fun with my viewing habits.

Well, SAY something...
