I Love Jessica Simpson (Yeah, Big Shock)

I don’t care what anyone says, she’s beautiful, she’s conservative, she’s talented… and she eats meat.

Don’t let the PETA-philes and Pam Anderson get you down, Jessica. Pam’s just trailer trash on parade, and PETA consists of nothing but sub-human morons.

You can come fishing and/or hunting with me any ol’ time… and I’ll do the cleaning and cooking.

The Elderly Golfer…Courtesy, a friend.

Arthur is 90-years-old. He’s played golf every day since his retirement 25 years ago. One day, he arrives home looking downcast.
“That’s it,” he tells his wife. “I’m giving up golf. My eyesight has gotten so bad that once I hit the ball, I can’t even see where it goes.”

His wife sympathizes and makes him a cup of tea. As they sit down, she says, “Why don’t you take my brother with you and give it one more try?”

“That’s no good,” sighs Arthur. “Your brother’s a hundred and three. He can’t help.”
“He may be a hundred and three,” says his wife, “but his eyesight is perfect.”

So, the next day, Arthur heads off to the golf course with his brother-in-law. He tees up, takes an almighty swing and squints down the fairway.

He turns to the brother-in-law and asks, “Did you see the ball?”

“Of course I did!” replied the brother-in-law. “I have perfect eyesight!”

“Where did it go?” says Arthur.

“I don’t remember.”

Words to live by

This is more about Tony Snow, from Rick Moran of PajamasMedia:

if we only build such tributes to honor the well known or well born among us, we fail to take into account that it is usually the ordinaries who teach us the most about life and encourage us to live every day as if it were a gift rather than a travail.

I intend to find a way to quote this to my grandchildren (in a way that they won’t think they’re being “preached to”, that is), because they are some of the wisest words I’ve ever read.

Flotsam and Jetsam. Read this earlier. Instapundit has run with it.

Another Barack Obama earmark turns up in the news. For a candidate who has made earmark reform an obsession, John McCain hasn’t done much to point out some of Obama’s more embarrassing and egregious earmarks. They do seem to be a powerful example of Old Politics.

The failure to get sanctions passed for Zimbabwe is instructive. And will we have any more luck imposing them on Iran? (After the bribe-athon finally ends, that is.)

More evidence of China’s disdain for human rights (and support for Gordon’s argument).

An articulate minority woman who can explain why capitalism works and is passionate about freedom. But alas, she was not born in the U.S. and therefore can’t make the VP list.

Michelle Obama buying $600 earings? (Sounds like something Nancy Reagan would have gotten bashed for.) Surprised she didn’t put it toward ritzy summer camps. Hey, the lady’s  rich, and she should spend her money any way she wants. (But spare us the whining.)

I don’t understand the purpose of Obama publicly insulting Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Maybe it’s part of his effort to demonstrate he won’t be a shoot-from-the hip cowboy who damages our international relationships.

Only the New York Times would point out that Obama speaks no foreign language but ridicule Mitt Romney for speaking French. Funny how they thought it was trés distingué that John Kerry spoke French.

Commentary Magazine

I’m beginning to think John McCain wants to be buried in an avalanche, by Snowbama. If McCain wants to become our President…he had better start laying the wood to the Messiah. Obama isn’t going to win this, it is being handed to to him, BY McCain.

Get off your ass McCain. Get your entire staff off its ass, McCain.

Didn’t doofus Obama, just get through making a speech about Americans learning a second language?

Why yes he did….

“This is an example of some of the problems we get into when somebody attacks you for saying the truth, which is: We should want our children with more knowledge. We should want our children to have more skills,” he said. “I know, because I don’t speak a foreign language. It’s embarrassing,” Obama said, chuckling.

Economic Times/India Times

Get it together, McCain….and ye best start NOW.

Memo: Kiwis. All your base are belong to us.

Well, why not?

Green Party names McKinney as presidential pick

CHICAGO (Reuters) – The U.S. Green Party, which captured far less than 1 percent of the vote in the last presidential election, chose former Democratic Rep. Cynthia McKinney as its 2008 presidential candidate on Saturday.

McKinney, 53, will be joined on the ticket for the November election by vice presidential candidate Rosa Clemente, a hip-hop artist and activist.

The scintilla of credibilty this party had, is now gone. UnGodDamnbelieveable. It wouldn’t matter really, but they have gone batshit crazy.

Conservative Renaissance Man Tony Snow has Died

He was only 53 years old.

Most people remember Tony as a former Bush Press Secretary, FOX News commentator, and occasional fill-in for Rush Limbaugh, but few know this:

“Snow played six instruments — saxophone, trombone, flute, piccolo, accordion and guitar — and was in a D.C. cover band called Beats Workin’. He also was a film buff.

“He was a great musician,” Ailes said. “And he loved movies.”

More than anything, said Snow’s colleagues, he was a joy to work with.

“He was a lot of fun,” his former FOX News producer Griff Jenkins said. “This is a loss of a family member.”

FOX News Chief Washington Correspondent Jim Angle called Snow a “gentleman.”

Snow is survived by his wife, Jill Ellen Walker, whom he married in 1987; their son, Robbie; and daughters, Kendall and Kristi.”

Six instruments! I have trouble enough with one.

RIP and Godspeed, Tony.

Dr. Michael DeBakey dead at 99

HOUSTON (AP) – Dr. Michael DeBakey, the world-famous cardiovascular surgeon who pioneered such now-common procedures as bypass surgery and invented a host of devices to help heart patients, died Friday night at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, officials announced. He was 99.

The truly blessed part is that my daughter Kim and her two kiddies, live in Houston, TX.

Rest in Peace, fine man. This mans developments and inventions helped save my grandsons life. Bless you Dr. Debakey. Thank you for helping all of human life.

Heaven Help All of the Disenfranchised Babies

Germany, following England down the swirling water into the toilet, is trying to decide if infants should have the right to vote.

“The bill, which has won the cross-party backing of some heavyweight German politicians, would wipe away decades of “exclusion” and “discrimination” against minors, according to its supporters.

Currently the voting threshold in Germany is 18, with an exception in some states, where 16-year-olds are allowed to cast a ballot.

But that does not go far enough for the new law’s backers, who want to ensure voting rights from cradle to grave. If the bill gets adopted, babies will have the same powers to voice their opinion on government handling of macro-economic performance in a global downturn enjoyed by their parents.”

I’m going to tell you something, and this won’t be popular here, but democracy is exactly idiocy. Democracy is rule by fool, because the masses are asses. How much money do we waste on politics? All of the C-5 Galaxy cargo transports in the USAF couldn’t carry it.

And, we let 18 year old morons vote. I voted at eighteen… for Jimmy fucking goddamned Carter.

All citizens should be able to aspire to qualify to vote, but not all ought to be allowed to vote. My idea has always been, one qualification, one overriding disqualification, and one overriding exception:

1] Qualification: Home ownership. I don’t care if you are eighteen or eighty, if you graduated from high school or college, if you have figured out enough to buy a house and you own it outright, then you have a stake in the country, and you ought to be allowed to vote (No sharing the house with a bank through a mortgage: Outright ownership).

2] Disqualification: Government employment. I don’t care if you own a home or not, if you draw a paycheck from the treasury, you ought to be disqualified from voting. Government employees will only vote for more government, not in the public interest.

3] Exception: Military servicemen. It doesn’t matter if you own a home or not – military service makes that nearly impossible sometimes – and I don’t care that you are paid out of the treasury: If you have your life on the line for your country, then you ought to be allowed to vote.

Remember, heaven is a kingdom, not a democracy. The least we can do here is objectively qualify voters.

God Schools Engineers in Hydrodynamics and Aerodynamics

It seems streamlining as human engineers have understood it thus far, has a few shortcomings.

“Dolphins and whales have evolved over millions of years to maximize efficiency of movement through water. The human species has been trying to perfect streamlined designs for barely a century. Biologists and engineers, applying biomimicry, studied the flippers, fins and tails of whales and dolphins, and have discovered some features of their structure that contradict long-held engineering theories.

The shape of whale flippers with one bumpy edge has inspired the creation of a completely novel design for wind turbine blades. This design has been shown to be more efficient and also quieter, but defies traditional engineering theories.

Dr Frank Fish of West Chester University says that the shape of whale flippers has inspired the creation of a completely novel design for wind turbine blades.”

Well, duh. If you take the natural philosopher’s approach (Newton called himself a natural philosopher), you’ll learn from nature versus your own puny self.

NOTE: A natural philosopher looks only at God-givens, and makes all deductions from that.

Speaking Truth to Charity: Africa Gives the World Nothing but AIDS

How hard do you think the leftards will come down on this guy?

“No. It will not do. Even as we see African states refusing to take action to restore something resembling civilisation in Zimbabwe, the begging bowl for Ethiopia is being passed around to us, yet again. It is nearly 25 years since Ethiopia’s (and Bob Geldof’s) famous Feed The World campaign, and in that time Ethiopia’s population has grown from 33.5 million to 78 million today.

So why on earth should I do anything to encourage further catastrophic demographic growth in that country? Where is the logic? There is none. To be sure, there are two things saying that logic doesn’t count.

One is my conscience, and the other is the picture, yet again, of another wide-eyed child, yet again, gazing, yet again, at the camera, which yet again, captures the tragedy of . . .

Sorry. My conscience has toured this territory on foot and financially. Unlike most of you, I have been to Ethiopia; like most of you, I have stumped up the loot to charities to stop starvation there. The wide-eyed boy-child we saved, 20 years or so ago, is now a priapic, Kalashnikov-bearing hearty, siring children whenever the whim takes him.

There is, no doubt a good argument why we should prolong this predatory and dysfunctional economic, social and sexual system; but I do not know what it is. There is, on the other hand, every reason not to write a column like this.

It will win no friends, and will provoke the self-righteous wrath of, well, the self-righteous, letter-writing wrathful, a species which never fails to contaminate almost every debate in Irish life with its sneers and its moral superiority. It will also probably enrage some of the finest men in Irish life, like John O’Shea, of Goal; and the Finucane brothers, men whom I admire enormously. So be it.

But, please, please, you self-righteously wrathful, spare me mention of our own Famine, with this or that lazy analogy. There is no comparison. Within 20 years of the Famine, the Irish population was down by 30pc. Over the equivalent period, thanks to western food, the Mercedes 10-wheel truck and the Lockheed Hercules, Ethiopia’s has more than doubled.”

My mother’s side of our family – Daugherty is mom’s maiden name – were Irish potato famine refugees. I can attest to the event only a few generations removed. People died eating grass and strips of leather in Ireland! Curiously, Bob Geldof was not there to raise money for them, so those who could left… and those who couldn’t died, or barely survived.

This article is almost inhumanly harsh, but it’s right on the money. Expect faux outrage and crocodile tears from all of the usual suspects.

In the War Against Islamification, England is Lost

“The picture is an affront to all victims of terrorism and their families.”

This scum-sucking maggot-out-of-hell is smiling because he lives in a $1,600,000.00 US home and draws $100,000.00 US in welfare per year, all on the backs of the English taxpayer.

What. the. unholy. living. fuck?

“Abu Qatada, Al Qaeda’s ambassador in Europe, strolls along a busy London street fondling his prayer beads.

This is the first photograph of the greying 47-year-old – said to be one of the world’s most dangerous terrorist suspects – since he was released on bail from a high-security prison after the courts ordered that he could not be sent home to Jordan because his human rights would have been breached.”

Cry me a river about this shit-sack’s human rights. He’s not a fucking human being! Killing this crap-weasel would be no more reprehensible than stepping on a cockroach.

“t was taken on July 7, hours after the families and friends of the 52 innocent people killed in the London transport suicide bombings three years ago remembered their loved ones at a memorial service.

The radical cleric was freed three weeks ago when a judge ruled that there were no grounds to detain him after previous attempts to deport him to Jordan, where he was convicted of terror attacks and bomb plots, were defeated in the courts.

Described by another judge as ‘a truly dangerous individual’, he remains an iconic figure for many supporters of jihad.

Lawyers successfully argued in the Court of Appeal that Qatada could stay because evidence used against him in any prosecution in Jordan might have been obtained by torture – a breach of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The fanatical preacher, who was 20 stone but slimmed down on prison food, was pictured on a shopping trip near the £800,000 home he shares with his wife and children.

Exact details of the location where the Qatada family are living on benefits of an estimated £50,000 a year are protected by court orders.”

I’m sure there are plenty of good people left in England, so why aren’t they breaking out the guns and overthrowing the government? Oh. That’s right. The government has disarmed them, so there is nothing they can do.

At least this century the US won’t have to send it’s best and brightest “over there” to fight and die… because there is nothing left in England and Europe worth fighting for.

Let the muzzies have the fucking retched place. That’s the message the governments “over there” are sending. I say we listen to them and not bail their miserable asses out this time.

Fuck ’em.

Jesus X. Menendez.
