Here’s the lowdown.
A Palestinian man illegally comes to Australia. He is denied status and is deported back to his little hellhole, despite believing that he’ll be killed.
Upon his return, he’s killed by Fatah, the collection of fuckwits and lowlifes that for some reason or other we still haven’t bombed back to before the Stone Age.
So who are our assorted fuckwits blaming?
Yep. The Australian Government. ‘Cause we didn’t take the guy in.
What the fuck is wrong with these people?
Click here for the full fuckwittery.
And for the hell of it, here’s the Age’s coverage.
Of course, News Ltd is right down to the same standard.
Not to be outdone, the ABC plummets down to it’s usual standard.

Yeah – fucking brilliant, isn’t it. They only give the barest details as the major headlines, but he has been involved in a killing 18 months ago after being sent back to Gaza in September 2002. Pity he wasn’t allowed to stay in Marilyn of Kensington’s place!
One thing surprised me – The Age’s coverage of the facts were better than The Australian’s.

Australia is not obliged to offer asylum to people threatened by criminal behaviour.
I might point out that judgement was last made (that im aware of) in relation to a white south African family who tried that in their attempt to claim asylum.
“..But sources in Gaza suggested the 31-year-old was killed to avenge his alleged involvement in the deaths of two members of a rival clan 18 months ago, part of a long feud..”
doesnt exactly gell well with the following
“..It is a tragedy because we have lost another young person who could have been a good Australian citizen…”
Pigs arse. Its a bullet Australia dodged.
August 1, 2008, 9:51 pm at 9:51 pm
He fears for his life so he applies for a “visitor’s visa?”
Definitely a bullet dodged, Frollicking. I suspect the plan would have been to get here and then start bleating for asylum (and the benefits that go with).
August 1, 2008, 9:52 pm at 9:52 pm
Oh yeah, and how many people will blame Kev “I’m Here To Help” Rudd and his government for this?
August 1, 2008, 11:42 pm at 11:42 pm
Seza, I’ll have to click over and read The Age‘s coverage then. It’s rare for them to be better than The Australian.
Mole, I’ve got to agree there. Seems like he was only interested in coming here because of our overly kind welfare system. There are a bunch of countries more suited to his belief system that he would have passed through getting here, so why not stop there if he was genuinely in need? Answer: welfare. Free money. All rights, no responsibility.
Nilk, I’m sure it’s all HoWARd’s fault. Even though he was turned down for a visa under the Rudd Government.

Remember the legendary case of the young lad who kills his parents, and then throws himself on the mercy of the court because he’s an orphan?
Cheers
August 2, 2008, 12:30 am at 12:30 am
Is there any mention in any of the articles why he was stepping out of court?
Was he attending because of the alledged murder of the woman?
I might also query how its Oz’s fault he murdered a woman AFTER returning home, and that family sought revenge.
August 2, 2008, 1:15 am at 1:15 am
So, it was the Kev & Co Regime which turned him away in February ’08, right? So, where’s all the giant Kevni papier-mâché heads?
August 2, 2008, 1:51 am at 1:51 am
Spot on, Mole. A bullet dodged.
And as for the welfare, remember reading on Bolt’s (I think) a while back about everyone’s favorite interpreter, Keysar Trad. Something about him wanting a second wife. Post mentioned he has something like nine kids to his wife… and is collecting welfare payments. Howard was great, but not perfect.
August 2, 2008, 1:58 am at 1:58 am
Good point, Bingbing:
“Keysar Trad then had nine children and no steady job, relying on low-income support from government. He could not maintain his own family on his own, yet still was asking another woman to join his tribe.”
Also, here.
August 2, 2008, 2:03 am at 2:03 am
Thanks, Spot. Was being lazy. BTW, humour me, not a bad day’s work over at Jeremy’s, eh? It was fun.
August 2, 2008, 2:07 am at 2:07 am
Heh. You all done good! 🙂 Just sent you & Ash an email ’bout that.
August 2, 2008, 2:13 am at 2:13 am
Duly received Spot. Will reply once I have a nice, cold Slurpee in my hands. Yummy!
August 2, 2008, 2:20 am at 2:20 am
😉
August 2, 2008, 2:23 am at 2:23 am
Keysar Trad is more an apologist than a translator though…
August 2, 2008, 3:19 am at 3:19 am
And even more of a fuckwit…
August 2, 2008, 4:33 am at 4:33 am
This might not come as a suprise but the ABC’s coverage is even worse than those you linked.
http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/08/02/2322154.htm
Absolutely no mention that the reason he was killed was because of a fued involving the deaths of women.
August 2, 2008, 4:45 am at 4:45 am
No doubt they’d have offered him a blowjob if he was still alive Mole.
August 2, 2008, 5:14 am at 5:14 am
Why not some of our university “free te refugees” visitors used to.
August 2, 2008, 5:37 am at 5:37 am
Creepy. Definitely not something I would have done at uni.
August 2, 2008, 5:42 am at 5:42 am
Cool. Think of all the you-beaut exotic diseases you could get without even the bother of having to travel to some third-world hellhole…
August 2, 2008, 5:53 am at 5:53 am
Its worse than youd think. Most of them would come in in jeans ect the first visit, sometimes the detainees would sneak in a bit if prawn flicking by the end of that visit.
2nd visit, if they showed up in a skirt or dress you knew sure as apples shed be grinding on his lap before the day was out. Usualy we left them to it unless there were families or respectable visitors in the yard. For non racists they were pretty pick in which “exotic species” they preffered to mount.
August 2, 2008, 6:04 am at 6:04 am
Which species was the one of choice?
Seriously, that’s screwy (literally). What kind of girl in her right mind would do that?
August 2, 2008, 6:15 am at 6:15 am
Well they didnt like the Sri lankans, Afghanis or Chinese, so that pretty well left our African and Arabic friends.
What kind of girl? Nearly always uni types. It was funny in one way to see a busload turn up with a few feral blokes along for the ride. By day 2 the feral blokes didnt visit again…
I dont particularly blame the blokes for taking advantage of the girls, they were praticly frothing at the knickers just getting through the gates. No doubt imagining themselves as WW2 resistance ladies or something.

Well it’s not like there was force involved, but geeze, some girls are easy.
August 2, 2008, 6:48 am at 6:48 am
Am I the only one who reads “Palestinian” as “paleostinian”?
August 2, 2008, 9:09 am at 9:09 am
Praise Allah: Another one bites the dust. No problem, no worries.
