The images are appalling. I feel for the victim on fire.

Seeing this, is a sad day. My god bless them.

  2. Ash Says:

The only plus to come out of Russia’s current moves is that we now know that their army isn’t as strong as Putin would have us believe.

  3. 1.618 Says:

True, but the bloodshed is pointless and time is as distant as their fury.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, there is an infinite number of universes with their own gods… dreaming the cosmic dreams.

Gods are the dreams of men… War is the creation and dreams of man.

  4. Col. Milquetoast Says:

The Russian army can make up for a lack of strength with brutality. Plus, they have nukes and thousands of people in the west who will spend whatever energy necessary to blame the west for “provoking” Russia.

  5. Col. Milquetoast Says:

    I wish it had captions.

I really wonder about the graffiti on the BMP. Russian, Georgian, Ossetian?

  6. mylesfromnowhere Says:

Yet another reminder that war is not a video game

  7. J.M. Heinrichs Says:

Two of the BMP1s had Russian titles: “Chechnia”, “Vostok”, and “Yamadaev”. The crashed armoured car has Georgian script titles. That which appears to be a M72 LAW is rather an RPG-22. The tanks are generally T72s with some destroyed T55s. Among the APCs are MT-LBs (tracked) and BTR-80s (wheeled); the arty are 2S3s.

    Cheers
