…and getting the picks at both the Slayer and Metallica concerts

Rambling Being a toss now but whatever. Twentieth Anniversary of MOP and it was Kerry’s pick.

PS Kerrang are tools… video editing good. Knowledge bad. It’s not ‘Raining Blood’. It’s ‘Reign in Blood’.

  1. Richard Sharpe Says:

20th Anniversary of MOP and you put up a song from Justice? One is one of my favourite songs, right up there with Stairway and Aces High.

  2. The Wizard of WOZ Says:

I know I’m about to start a flame war here, but so be it:

Stairway is the most over hyped song ever. Its not even the best Led Zepp song, not by a huge margin.

  3. Angus Dei Says:

STH may BE the most over hyped song ever, but people still love it. In fact, my solo arrangement of STH is the FINALE of my set. The only other pieces in my set that come close in terms of crowd reaction are Classical Gas and Eu So Quero Um Xodo (A Brazilian classic).

Eu So Quero Um Xodo is the bumper music at my main website, if you want to give it a listen. The rhythmic syncopations were a bitch to get down. I worked on that thing for months before I started performing it.

  4. Richard Sharpe Says:

I still love it. Oh and Kashmir and Immigrant Song, and Battle of Evermore, and Misty Mountain Hop and…………..

  5. The Wizard of WOZ Says:

and Black Dog and Heartbreaker and celebration day and rock and roll and…

  6. Richard Sharpe Says:

Pretty much. I’m not so fond of their earlier blues stuff, but anything after that just rocks.

Well, SAY something...
