Thanks 🙂 Glad you like it.
(I have to acknowledge Doctor Bulldog’s help with this).

If that outfit is still around – and I don’t know – it would be worth heaps. It was designed by Manuel who did Elvis’s Las Vegas outfits.

I wasn’t all that happy looking like an electrified green freak!
I’ll take you up on the champagne – thanks.

  8. spot_the_dog Says:

That is a brilliant picture, Gramfan – Still got that hat? I think I’m in love 🙂

  9. Gramfan Says:

    spot_the_dog

It was never my hat, sob, sob. I wish I did.
Being in love is always a nice thing 🙂

  10. Gramfan Says:

Too quick with the submit button.

“Being in love is always a nice thing :)”
But then again, as Gram and EmmyLou say: “Love Hurts”.

  11. spot_the_dog Says:

    James Taylor trumps EmmyLou:

    ♪♫ that love’s the finest thing around … ♫ ♪♫ ♫

At least us Lutherans got a mention. I was beginning to fear we were losing our intimidating edge.

    “James Taylor trumps EmmyLou”

Maybe with that lyric you quoted, but as far as I am concerned she’s pretty “untrumpable”!

  14. spot_the_dog Says:

LOL. Give me the titles of three Emmylou songs to go download, and I’ll listen to ’em and get back to you 😉

  15. Ash Says:

Huc, you guys have never lost your dangerous edge with me!

  16. Gramfan Says:

    spot_the_dog
EmmyLou has done so many I don’t know where to start.

I like all the duets she does with Gram Parsons.
    The harmonies are terrific.

I like the songs she did on “Trio” with Linda Ronstadt and Dolly Parton, and there are also a few on “Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou?” soundtrack.
    That’ll do for starters 🙂

  17. Hucbald Says:

    Did someone say… harmony?

    “Hello darkness my old friend…”

Kinda tough to top that in my book, and my book is THE book! LOL!

  18. Gramfan Says:

    Hucbald

    We all have OUR books,lol!

Back to the topic of Islam: have you all seen this?
