UPDATE
Obama has certainly brought change more of the same to Washington.
When President-elect Barack Obama introduces his national security team on Monday, it will include two veteran cold warriors and a political rival whose records are all more hawkish than that of the new president who will face them in the White House Situation Room.
Sweeping shift of priorities (next paragraph in link – be bothered to read it), but. Yep. OK. Whatever.
NEWSBREAK! Old man changes outlook!!! Oooooookay.
The irony is, of course, is that this is actually a good thing and Team Obama is starting to seem OK.

Like Glenn Reynolds said, “I’m starting to think we won.” LOL!

Yep – And I am so seriously hoping that none of the Republicans I know fall prey to the kind of Hate Derangement Syndrome that afflicted so many on the Left for the past 8 years. Already on blogs, I see the odd commenter here and there say something just monumentally stupid about Obama (calling him “Hussein” over and over, repeating the “Sekret Muslim!11!!” myth, etc) and I just cringe. GROW UP people. I don’t care whether you wanted him to be your President or not – fact is, he’s going to be, and whilst it’s A Good Thing to hold him to account and not let the MSM get away with with constantly pissing in his pocket, it’s Not A Good Thing to spend the next four years mindlessly hating and actively hoping he stuffs up.
I swear, it’s almost like a few fringe dwellers are disappointed that Obama’s made some seemingly good choices in his team – they would have probably been “happier” if he had appointed all Black Panthers and Nation of Islam stooges to all the top jobs, then he would have fulfilled their worst expectations.
/sorry for the rant – I’m just reacting to an idiotic comment I saw over at Bolt’s with one of the weirdos making the “He’s really a secret Muslim” claim – again. ~~sheesh~~

He’s not my President; and I never voted for him!!!
Cheers
