A Birthday Tribute to Governor Sarah Palin.
By honorary-Australian-any-old-time-he-finally-manages-to-get-his-butt-down-here Kevin Jackson of The Black Sphere.
Couldn’t have said it any better myself, so I’m not even gonna try. I may not be real smart, but I’m smart enough to know when I’m beat. 😉
Seriously. READ IT.
And while you’re there, have a browse through the site & the left sidebar. Lots of good stuff there, about Kevin and what he’s about, about others on his team & how to support them. Heaps good links ‘n’ stuff, plus Obama photoshops galore. Plus the Black Sphere Radio Show links (which I’m not smart enough to embed directly – failed the “fetch” unit an’ all).
Bonus! There’s a Perth connection (there’s always a Perth connection, watch any Perth news broadcast, ask any0ne sheltering a piece of Skylab in their back shed, ask John Glenn!) , as one of Kev’s team members Dave (now in Texas) lived in Mt Pleasant (a Perth suburb) in the early 70’s whilst his father, a Geophysicist, worked out in the Great Sandy.
Perth/Western Australia and North Carolina – the two main nexuses (nexii?) of the universe. Forget that “six degrees of separation” stuff, with WA and NC there’re never more than two or three degrees of separation between any major world event and these two places. Honest.
Now. Go away and read.
*(update below the fold)*
UPDATE: I would consider it a personal favour if any of you all who like Kevin’s blog were to try and slip occasional links to his blog/posts where relevent into the various other blogs you contribute to. We conservatives need to start taking a page out of the Leftards’ playbook and start forming a more cohesive community and start promoting each others’s web sites, IMHO. The Black Sphere is a relatively new blog (and a finalist for “Best New Blog 2008”) and I for one think that Kevin’s combination of youthful irreverence, humour, intelligence and perceptive observations will strike a chord with a lot of the bloggers in our regular haunts – they just need to “discover” him.
And if any readers have any other favourite conservative/right-leaning blogs they want spruiking, drop us a line at tizonasweblog(at)gmail.com or leave it in comments on any post and we’ll find it. Thanks!

Hes a good writer, quite entertaining, and manages to pop the pomposity of Obamas governing style quite well.

The Black Sphere seems to be a pretty damn good blog, interesting topics and a great writing style too, and yeah, he pops the Messiahs governing style well, I wish I could write like that.
I like the ‘Skylab’ links too, a terrific way to introduce new viewers to some older posts.

I almost forgot, Happy Birthday Governor Sarah, she would have made an excellent VP, perhaps next election cycle she will be the GOP Presidential candidate, I can only hope.

Yep. Happy Birthday, Sarah.
Still, I reckon she’d be better off running in 2016 for POTUS – unless Obama’s stimulus package and things like his crap universal healthcare thingamajig completely stuff the US economy.
