How times change


He gave assurance that one way or another Pakistan’s nuclear aresanl (sic) would not fall into the hands of Islamic extremists. He said he was confident that Pakistan would handle the issue on its own but he left the door open to the U.S. taking action to secure the weapons if need be.

Now there’s change. Imagine if Bush had proposed that.

Meanwhile, same bloke…

Obama has set Aug. 31, 2010, as the target for ending the U.S. combat mission in Iraq, assigned 17,000 more troops to Afghanistan, and called in Prague for steps to eliminate nuclear weapons.

Eliminate them whilst upping your stash? Audacious indeed. S’pose that’s one way to rid the rest of the world of nukes.
