I can’t stand our new supervisor.
Not only is she incompetent, she has a total lack of understanding of Westerners and how we operate. That and her poor English makes her sound extremely rude. But I’ll try and handle it like an adult.
(crickets chirping)
Well to be fair, she’s brand new at this gig. It’s probably her first full-time job and shame on the higher-ups for (again) not hiring someone with enough qualifications to handle the workload. It’s her abruptness and rudeness which is so annoying, however. Five years experience and here’s someone with two weeks experience talking down to me and the other teachers. Unbelievable.
(be mature, bing)
Nup. Did you know she has a son named Kyle?
Nine weeks, bing, nine weeks.
UPDATE
Talked with a mate/co-teacher. She used to work at one of the busier community centres. This current job is a promotion for her hard work. Fact still stands: her management skills SUCK.
PS S’pose there should be a NSFW warning for the clip.

It would be interesting to know what country she is from. Having dealt with a great many graduate students from overseas, I can tell you that the norms of courtesy are vastly different here and there.
That said, it’s incumbent upon the new arrival intending to stay to learn the customs etc. of the receiving country.

She’s Korean. I live in Korea.
