The question is what else can be done right now to enlighten the Australian public that what is being perpetrated is a massive fraud.

Very hard aussie, just heard a young chap (17) on J Fein’s this morning saying that they were taught CC is real, is man induced, and he believes it and will confirm it in his exam papers today.
The old saying “get them young” is true, takes life experience to change that, but by then he probably would have voted a couple of times.

I hope that Rudd ends up one day with all the egg on his face he deserves (and Turnbull)

I will rather think of the first performance of Richard Strauss’ “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” used in the movie “2001: A Space Oddysey” first played in Frankfurt 27th November 1896:

Ok, call me a philistine but when i hear that music i think of the Simpsons episode where Homer is drawn as a monkey…..mmmmmmm…….yes i’m a philistine.

As an interesting sideline try saying Zarathustra when you’ve been drinking.

sadly, it also makes me think of that ad for coffee…..

For me, this music will forever be associated with the BBC coverage of the Apollo moonshots. What a wonderful time to be alive, when anything seemed possible. Patrick Moore, James Burke and Mitch Wafflemore in the days before the BBC would’ve rubbished it as an environmental catastrophe.

    • Carpe Jugulum Says:

Elsie – yes i’d forgotten about that one.

Ian – during the moon landing in ’69 my school had the radio on throughout the school speaker system, a terrific memory.

Could the events of today constitute one of those ‘tipping points’ global norming idiots are always frothing at the mouth about?

    Stay tuned kiddies!

    • Ian Says:

Rabz, I awoke early this morning, around 4:30, and was listening to NewsRadio (I know, I know!) The lateline interview with Cori Bernardi was being replayed. At last! Someone prepared to stand up for Liberal values and call Rudd’s mad plan for what it is, a massive tax grab, not an environmental policy. I was reminded as the sun shone through the window, of Tony Blair’s speech the morning after his ’97 election win — “A new day has dawned, has it not?”. This is indeed the tipping point. From here on, the Liberals can exploit a point of difference, and start the long climb back to relevance.
