More Sunday Boltness

Terry McCrann puts in the boot on KRudd’s ETS.

Roberta Williams cops a serve.

More on Polanski, and the help he’s getting from Sarkozy.

It rains in Tazzy, so like duh, Global Warming.

Laying the boot into Turnbull.

Rudd starts giving away our billions… CHOGM, and like much of that money will trickle down to the regular African people.

Bee bee cue (as they say in Korea)

In a tie-back to Tizona’s former Sunday Brunch posts, Rabz was kind enough to send in a couple of pics of the Christening – baptism? – of his new BBQ.

Looks like that would have been one yummy feed! 🙂

And – almost oddly enough  (and if you’re wondering about Tizona’s views on people who wear funny hats on their heads, look no further) – it’s a hatty!

Ahmadinejad, Chaves “together to the end”

One can only hope, when it comes to them, it’s soon.

Obama OKs more cash for ACORN

Via the Drudge Report, this is unbelievable stuff. Perhaps I was too quick when I said good-bye to ACORN after the scandal emerged that they were helping to facilitate child prostitution, a travesty even the Left could not ingore. Well, it turns out the Obama administration is still going to give them more stacks of cash (yeah, I know, hadn’t they cut the funding?), in a deal announced by the so-called Justice Department. Naturally, Republicans are outraged by this – who wouldn’t be – and no wonder. Interesting when you consider how much funding Obama received during his election campaign. And let’s not forget the $5.2 BILLION bailout of US taxpayer money Obama has already given them. Child-prostitution, voter registration fraud, dumping of important yet damaging documents in the trash

This organization reeks. Has Obama no shame?

Did ACORN actually get that $5.2 billion that the Democrats intened for them? Regardless, the intention was there.

How’s this? There’s 10.6 MILION hits on google for Climategate, yet still, at best, only faint whispers in our media. Not a peep of it in the Korean media.

Climate Pseudoscience was a Mind Control Plot All Along

From The Dread Pundit Bluto, we get this gem of Orwellian Mind Control from the fraudulent, now disgraced, pseudoscientists currently being entombed by Climategate.

“There is plenty of evidence relating to attitudes towards and behaviour on climate change, general environmental behaviour change and the whole issue of sustainable development communication. As we reviewed the research for these principles, one ‘überprinciple’ emerged: “Changing attitudes towards climate change is not like selling a particular brand of soap – it’s like convincing someone to use soap in the first place.”

At first glance, some of the principles may seem counterintuitive to those who have been working on sustainable development or climate change communications for many years. Some confront dearly cherished beliefs about what works; a few even seem to attack the values or principles of sustainable development itself. However, these principles are a first step to using sophisticated behaviour change modelling and comprehensive evidence from around the world to change attitudes towards climate change. We need to think radically, and the Rules of the Game are a sign that future campaigns will not be ‘business as usual’. This is a truly exciting moment. [You want excitement? Come over to my house and try peddling your lying, putrid wares to me. I’ll show you magnum levels of excitement. – Beef]

Yeah, that’s right, these lying pseudo-intellectuals peddle their pseudo-scientific lies with mind control tactics. Like I’ve said for years, there is no sub-class of human beings more susceptible to peer pressure and mind control than leftards are.

In real life, leftards don’t fight mind control. Rather, they embrace it.

Remaking an Epic: Clash of the Titans

I’m an old-school retrosexual kind of guy, so I like epic movies like Gladiator, 10,000 BC, The Patriot, Apocalypto, Master and Commander – you get the idea; the more high-test testosterone, the better. Well, the original Clash of the Titans came out in 1981, and it was a pretty good action epic for the time – I actually have a Swedish friend named Anders who had a bit part in it – but after movies like 300, which have redefined the entire look and feel of action epics, I’ve begun to wonder what those kind of production values and CGI effects could bring to a remake of Clash.

You could have knocked me over with a feather when I heard that, not only is a remake on the horizon, but it’s finished filming and is already in post production! This flew completely under my radar. Here’s the trailer in formats up to and including 1080p HD (Which looks awesome on my Apple 23″ Cinema HD Display). HA! It sounds as if Bingbing did the film score: very heavy, which I like for this sort of thing (300 had a brilliant score).

It looks like they’ve done it right, with a big budget, no-holds-barred CGI effects, and a killer cast that includes Sam Worthington as Persius, Ralph Fiennes as Hades, Liam Neeson as Zeus (!), Alexa Davalos as Andromeda, and my favorite babe-actress of the moment, Gemma Arterton, as Io.

I could so love her. LOL!

I don’t go to theaters to see films in first release much anymore, but this one I will. Of course, I’ll have to have the DVD too. In fact, this movie might finally spur me on to finally buy a Blu-Ray player if I like it enough.

I’m more psyched about Clash of the Titans than I am about Avatar.
