A Return to the Dark Ages

It's lots more fun to play in good light!

In 1939 people knew the value of electricty

The headline : “Era of constant electricity at home is ending, says power chief”

Steve Holliday, chief executive of the National Grid, said “We are going to change our behaviour and consume it when it is available and available cheaply”

Another bright idea (I think it stinks)

They’re doing similar shit in Korea for whatever mad reason.

Oh yeah, that mad reason is because of the non-existent oil crisis so businesses have to switch of their lights etc.

Odd since only 2% of Korea’s electricity actually comes from oil and 40% is actually Gaia-hugging nuclear power.

And that’s the right-wing government spouting that shite. One shudders to think what the case would be should the Left still be in power.

We had our electricity bill yesterday, plus a letter to once again tell us that the price is rising again. It was only in January that they last put it up. This time it is going up on my husband’s calculations, by 23%, and this is BEFORE the so called carbon “price/tax” is added.
Many people just won’t be able to afford electricity soon.
Time the Greens led by example and turned off their electricity/water/gas/travel and proved to us how bad this so called Global warming/Climate Change/Climate disruption/or whatever fancy name they want to give it is “harming” our lives.
They won’t they just want the rest of the population to suffer.

Well, SAY something...
