This is an actual thing that is happening in comments to Tim Blair’s post on False Alarmists:

What can I say, but this: Keep up the good work, People Who Are Smarter Than Us™!
UPDATE: MOAR!

Tim’s not blogging any more? Tony Negus is playing tricksies?

And see how in both cases, the Leftards who don’t understand the words they’re using snark about how we need dictionaries?
Burning stupid. >.<

General rule of thumb: if you don’t know what a word means, don’t use it. If you want to use it, google is your friend i.e. check first.
That Brizben didn’t get it (refused?), is even more telling. Srsly, how many hints does one need???
That final comment by Compassionate Conservative had me cracking up.

PS
“Say again?
Don’t tell me you’re essentializing that the opaque excogitations of those deceived of sagacious sagaciousness when ruminating the suppositious brisance of dioxygen carbon somehow applies to the real world.”

You think that just came off the top of my head? As an ESL (conversation) teacher, what’s the point of even knowing words like that? As a communicator, there’s usually not much point going past an eighth grade level of vocab… unless you want to sound like a pretentious wanker that is.

O/T
Spot, why do you think Alan Jones is so barred up about Gasland?
It seems out of character to say the least. Me no get it.

I don’t usually listen to Alan Jones and haven’t played the clip yet, so I’m not clear on exactly what he said or the context. I’ll have a look later this weekend.

How did you know?
June 11, 2011, 8:49 pm at 8:49 pm
Feel that Brizben, was upset that the whole story about the scientists was ummm how can I put this nicely, ah yes, was a furphy, put out at the same time as GetUp and Co had their rally to try and stop any debate on the Carbon Tax, in fact it was a “smoke screen”you could say, because the actual events took place quite a few years back, and if they were worried about it at the time, they would have placed it into the hands of the police then, they didn’t do so.
So Brisben, was actually the days shock and awe unicorn.
