Well I woke up Sunday morning, with no way to hold my head that didn’t hurt;
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn’t bad, so I had one more for dessert…
What the Man says.

In a tie-back to Tizona’s former Sunday Brunch posts, Rabz was kind enough to send in a couple of pics of the Christening – baptism? – of his new BBQ.
Looks like that would have been one yummy feed! 🙂
And – almost oddly enough (and if you’re wondering about Tizona’s views on people who wear funny hats on their heads, look no further) – it’s a hatty!
First, the whine. Getting ripped off again by those bloody Koreans. They won’t even write me a reference. No, not because of a bad job done, but the game of musical chairs that is Korean bureauracy means that after two years of service, none of my “bosses” have been there long enough to know me and therefore write one.
Anyway, enough of the whine. Now here’s the cheese.
And since VodkaBlogger is off in cahoots with vague European girls, here’s a Sunday Shooter… a shot of Bourbon… well from Bourbon (St) anyway.
In Korea, there’s a phenomenon known as ‘anju’, which means side dish, meaning you can’t just walk into a Korean establishment and start plugging away the soju. Koreans eat when they drink as opposed to grabbing a 3am kebab. Side dishes usually involve some kind of funky kimchi, or dried anchovies, maybe some tofu soup. Consequently, you can usually find bingbing at Burger King (aka Hungry Jacks) around 8am Tizona time on a Sunday. Hence, afterwards, any 11am Sunday Brunch would probably have to be a side dish, so to speak.
Some of you may have guessed the Tizona’s Sunday brunches are scheduled, not posted live, as apart from last weekend when my wallet was lifted, there’s no way in hell I’m up at that ungodly hour (11am Tizona time… 9am Korean time [either way]) on a Sunday.
Anyway, in the spirit of side dishes and Koreans occasionally getting things right, Tizona’s presents, with special thanks to bing’s Korean girlfriend who alerted him to it, today’s Sunday Brunch! Praise Jesus!
Yes, that photo was taken in Korea (you can tell by the viser cap, second from the left)… probably not in the North, though.
UPDATE!
The Sunday Shooter!
So much going on. So much swirling round my head. Another big night. Obama’s speech to the Muslim world. Swine flu. Seems no one likes pork these days. Carradine. Can I speak to David, please? Sorry, he’s Thai’d up right now.
It’s all too much.
Back to basics.
Pizza.
Thai pork pizza to be precise…
Made from leftover pork roast. How good is that? Credit where credit’s due.
Enjoy… perhaps with a nice riesling.
Chicken perhaps?

Let’s take you down, take you down to Chinatown. Kung fu ya taste buds with these crunchy scorpions… on a stick! Yum yums!

Shit, so many drinks last night, I nearly forgot! But, even with the girl outta town, I was a good boy.
An oldie but a goodie.
Well, it’s about time Tizona’s offered up something healthy for the Sunday brunch. OK, OK, last week’s Easter roasted bunny wasn’t too bad. Still, you can’t get much healthier than Korea’s infamous kimchi. Mmmmm…
First and foremost, Happy Easter to all! And what better way to celebrate Easter than with a delicious roasted rabbit recipe – which includes eggs!
Paul “PJ” James is eating burgers and cake towards a goal weight of 120kg, a far cry from his days of strutting US catwalks at 80kg.
Gallery here. Hey, Paul! Some of Tizona’s delicious Sunday brunches or other tasty treats should do the trick…
Nothing fancy this week. Think I’ll just stick to a cheeseburger… Read the rest of this entry »
Well, since this is an international blog, I thought I’d give this week’s Sunday brunch an international flavour. And what better place to start than good ol’ Korea? The country which builds so many of the world’s cars, container ships, the biggest supertankers, not to mention all those cool electronic devices, has undergone massive Westernization in recent decades. But what powers those folks through the day? Where does the energy come from to kick our arses when it comes to this stuff? Well, from something like what we see below. Click here to see what comprises the photo you are looking at now.
All done with metal chopsticks, too!
Well, Spot insisted that it contain bacon. However, I was feeling a little more nostalgic. So, what to do? Well, Tizona’s presents the nostalgic bacon brunch… even more nostalgic than when first posted. So relax, kick the bucket your heels up and enjoy the time with the family.
Brought to you by the world’s favourite family restaurant…
Mmm, 21-year-old McDonald’s bacon bits. Enjoy.
JULIEN?
spot_the_dog gives you … the Bacon Cheese Pizza Burger!

Mmmmmmm… bacon.

My other half posted a bit on a food blog about gross foods ect. The usual deep fried mars bars and stuff came up. I sent her a link to some Krispy Kreme hamburgers similar to these ones
My better half said she was game so a lady from the eastern states posted across a dozen of the lard and surgar bombs for us to munch.
The results, including shocking video are below the fold… Read the rest of this entry »
OH. MY. GOD.
Don’t know about anyone else, but I could swim in those. That’s why God made Lipitor.
