I actually worry more about Velociraptors than I do about Catastrophic Man-Made Global Warming®.

The raptors scare me.
Is there any food that I can put out and have them devour first, so I have time to escape?
March 16, 2008, 7:09 am at 7:09 am
Tim might be on to something with the cheeseburger idea; I think they’re intimidated by V-8’s as well. I’ve heard they’re real fond of Vegans, especially the ones who don’t bath regularly. Can smell ’em a mile off, they say.

These are excellent and very funny cartoons Spot, oh, and Ash, I heard somewhere that cheeseburgers
will slow them down, giving you a little time to escape.

ROFL! I nearly choked on my glass of wine!
March 16, 2008, 8:27 am at 8:27 am
Be alert, not alarmed.
March 16, 2008, 7:53 am at 7:53 am
Well, at least the velociraptors got rid of that nasty C.H.U.D problem once and for all.
March 16, 2008, 8:22 am at 8:22 am
So that’s where JULIEN’s gone Spot!
FUCK! THEY’RE CLOSER THAN I THOUGHT! THEY’RE IN BRISSY!
March 16, 2008, 8:30 am at 8:30 am
#7 You know I should be alarmed Spot… especially since Julie doesn’t know what “maths” is!
Very, very alarmed!
March 16, 2008, 8:48 am at 8:48 am
Angus, I have tried to work out what C.H.U.D. means, but if you’ll forgive an ignorant Aussie, I am utterly perplexed, please, put me out of my misery before I go to work tomorrow, or I shall have a really, really bad day, thinking what the hell C.H.U.D. really means.

#9 Try here or here. I had to bookmark those pages when I first started reading Tim Blair’s commenters!

#10, thanks for putting me out of my misery, suddenly Monday looks like it will be a good day after all!
March 16, 2008, 10:10 am at 10:10 am
I had no idea there was more than one C.H.U.D. acronym. The one I meant is here. I love truly bad sci-fi and horror, and C.H.U.D. was one of the worst, but not nearly as bad as this: Truly one of the most unforgivably bad sci-fi horror movies of all time… and so one of my favorites. It even has Patrick Stewart in it.

Velociraptors are indeed a much-underestimated threat to Civilization As We now It.
Maybe after the whole Glowball Warmening things dies down, Al Gore will be scaring our children with Jurassic Park scenarios.
If he can find a way to blame it on George Bush!
