BBC Question Time on 9/11

Here is the BBC Question Time about 9/11 (aired September 13, 2001) :

You may have heard mention of it or seen it at the time. It is … interesting. The BBC director general at the time said of it :

he “would like to apologise to the viewers who were offended by it”.

He added that it was an inappropriate programme to broadcast live just two days after the suicide attacks on America, and should have been recorded and edited.

The BBC’s Media Correspondent, Nick Higham, said there was a recognition in the corporation that the audience could have been more representative of wider opinion.

Besides the shouting and jeering from the audience, there are a few points I’d like to highlight. Note the number of people (including the panelists) who attribute their own hobbyhorse as the cause of 9/11. Also, note some curious rhetorical techniques on display.

At about 21:29 (in the first clip), a guy says American & British aircraft flying over the skies of Iraq and Yugoslavia have done so in defense of Kurds, Iraqi Shia and muslims in Kosovo and is promptly jeered and shouted down. The counter arguments seems to be “You have no idea!”,  the idea that the only acceptable way to frame it is as killing muslims and that asserting things repeatedly makes it true.

At about 21:25 Yasmin Alibhai-Brown says to applause “I have been stunned by the way Americans are so shocked at how many people really truly detest them around the world.”

Speaking for myself, I don’t care if someone detests Americans. Oh, imagine the burden it must be to forever be wondering who a majority of Namibians consider to be their Super-Best-Friend-Forever. Treating global politics like high school cliques really doesn’t seem like the best way to determine policies.

Below the fold is parts 2 & 3 of the video and a transcript.

Why the desire to pull the troops out of Iraq in the first place?

*posted first on Friday Feb. 10, here*

In the Australian today:

NO sooner did President Barack Obama welcome home American troops from Iraq and laud that country’s stability and democracy than an unprecedented wave of violence across Baghdad and elsewhere revealed the severity of Iraq’s political crisis.

Unfortunate, yet hardly surprising, even to the most casual of observers.

And whilst I can understand (yet not agree with) the Left’s position not to send troops into Iraq in the first place – an argument, largely moot, for another day – what I don’t understand is their fervish desire to pull the troops out.

It always smacked of idealism, ideology, rather than hard-nosed practicality.

After all, what was so bad with having a US troop presence there to help maintain Iraq’s fragile democratic stability?

One could argue that I am biased because a) I am centre-right politically and b) because I live in South Korea, a nation that has had a US troop presence – some 37,000  28,000 or so currently – since the armistice between North and South Korea and have seen what a permanent US troop presence looks like.

I am happy to accept those labels and can gladly tell you that such a presence ain’t that bad.

By and large,  US bases in Korea – and Japan for that matter – haven’t been a problem.

Sure, issues pop up from time to time, but if one looks at the big picture, then a strong US presence here can only be seen as a good thing, a safe option, a pretty darn good insurance policy against North Korea trying anything major on.

Almost 60 years we’ve had US troops over here without any major problems. In fact, many major problems (a full-scale Nork attack comes to mind) have arguably been averted thanks to this presence.

So, why the rush to leave Iraq essentially free of any US military  before even a decade is up and before, as is clear now, the job is done?

OK, so perhaps it’s a bit like comparing apples and oranges. US troops in Korea, aside from those stationed at the DMZ, aren’t on active duty as they were in Iraq.

However, it’s not a completely dissimilar situation. Perhaps a good analogy would be to compare mandarins and oranges.

US troops not only provided safety and stability in the fledgling democracy that is Iraq – a country still steeped with sectarian and tribal rivalries – but surely they also provided a deterrence to anybody or any groups who want to destabilise the nation.

What takes years to build can take mere seconds to destroy, and I fear a lot of hard work is being undone on the whim of a flawed, feel-good, ideology.

So why?

The only practical reason that I can see for Obama pulling his troops out of Iraq is that with an Iranian confrontation looming which includes action needed in Syria, Iraq frankly isn’t important enough any more or at best, an impractical option for a potentially over-stretched military.

Of course, Obama – a man of the progressive Left – can’t actually come out and say that but it is reasonably well-known to those who don’t just get their news from the MSM that Obama is actually more of a war-time president than Bush was, having committed more troops to both Iraq and Afghanistan, and for a longer period of time.

So whilst the MSM might play along with the “bringing the troops home” narrative, the evidence indicates this simply isn’t the case.

Some 20,000 marines, seamen and air crews from half a dozen countries, a US nuclear aircraft carrier strike group and three US Marine gunship carriers are practicing an attack on a fictitious mechanized enemy division which has invaded its neighbor. It is the largest amphibian exercise seen in the West for a decade, staged to simulate a potential Iranian invasion of an allied Persian Gulf country and a marine landing on the Iranian coast. Based largely on US personnel and hardware, French, British, Italian, Dutch, Australian* and New Zealand military elements are integrated in the drill.
Bold Alligator went into its operational phase Monday, Feb. 6, the same day as a large-scale exercise began in southern Iran opposite the Strait of Hormuz. This simultaneity attests to the preparations for a US-Iranian showdown involving Israel behind the words on Feb. 5 of US President Barack Obama (“I don’t think Israel has decided whether to attack Iran”) and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Feb. 3 (“The war itself will be ten times as detrimental to the US.”).

(*BTW, I don’t recall Aussie PM Gillard highlighting that one.)

And this:

As the US and Israel carried on bickering over the right time to strike Iran’s nuclear sites, their war preparations continued apace. debkafile’s military sources report that flight after flight of US warplanes and transports were to be seen this week cutting eastward through the skies of Sinai on their way to Gulf destinations, presumably Saudi Arabia, at a frequency not seen in the Middle East for many years.

Add into this mix reports that China will reportedly help Saudi Arabia build a nuclear bomb, and that both China and India have started paying Iran for its oil in gold thus helping thwart current US/UN sanctions (more of which were recently thwarted by Russia and China), then we see a stage set for a showdown and we see the reality that rhetoric aside, Obama won’t be bringing many troops home at all.

To someone who doesn’t know any better, it’s as if Russia, India, and China – all wannabe first chickens to the trough – are ganging up on America.**

PS Who wouldn’t love to be a fly on the wall listening in to what the US is really saying about China? Their ever-expanding use of soft power is in many ways, stuffing it all up for America. China must surely be becoming an ever-increasing pain in the neck.

This leaves Australia in an interesting position. Our main export partner is China. Our main ally is the US. We send China our goodies to help them get rich and rival America. We practice shooting our guns with America to help keep America on top.

And yet China and America are also so deep in each other’s pockets. America buys China’s goods. China buys America’s debt.

Fun times.

** I highly recommend reading The Lucifer Principle by Howard Bloom. Part of the book talks about the pecking order of nations.

Occupy….Frederick?!?!?

I live in a city (and I use the term extremely loosely) named Frederick. Frederick, Maryland, to be exact. Frederick is located 45 miles west of Baltimore, 45 miles northwest of Washington, DC. There are somewhere between 50,000 and 75,000 people who live in greater Frederick/Walkersville/Braddock Heights/New Market. Metropolis it ain’t. In fact, up until the cost of housing in greater Washington pushed suburbia on Frederick, it was considered “the sticks”. Nowheresville. Residents of Frederick are referred to as “Frednecks“. You get the idea.

The Occupy movement, which started with Wall Street, evolved to include many cities in the US, including Los Angeles, Sacramento, Seattle, Cincinnati, Austin, Washington, and others. The main thing these cities have in common is that they are either state capitals or major population centers. And the main thing that Occupy protesters have in common is that they are leftist spoiled kids from the suburbs who think the world owes them a living.

So how do “Frederick, MD” and “Occupy” end up in the same sentence? Behold, Occupy Frederick!

Frederick has officially been occupied.

Members of Occupy Frederick set up tents and hung signs next to Carroll Creek on Market Street on Sunday afternoon in hopes of getting the word out about their Occupy Our Homes foreclosure event in early February.

Fifteen to 20 people braved below-freezing temperatures and trudged through snow in their winter coats, gloves and hats on Sunday, trying to stay warm while building awareness.

Building awareness. How very progressive! [cue puking noises]

I’m rather at a loss trying to figure out how left wing pukes “raising awareness” are going to fare among the Frednecks. Perhaps we Frednecks can raise THEIR awareness. Lessons they could learn include:

“Get a job!”
“Occupy THIS!”
“I got yer 99% RIGHT HERE!”
“Why don’t you ‘occupy’ a bathtub, you filthy hippy maggots!”

And, the one they most need to learn: “We don’t owe you shit!”

Townhall meeting coming to a venue near you

OK, so PM Gillard reckons The Debate We Never Had™ is over, but that doesn’t mean – oh no siree – that folks aren’t standing up to have their say.

A townhall meeting in Brisbane:

Mr Hockey said merchants at a Brisbane market this morning told him they would not be able to pass on the cost of an estimated 10 per cent rise in electricity without sacking staff.

“Time and time again, as we went past every store, all the workers were coming out and saying ‘you have to stop this tax’,” he said.

Our Langolier government

Most of you probably remember the book and/or movie, The Langoliers. Those little creatures would gobble up, or destroy if you will, everything – matter, space, time – they came across.

In a sense, the Gillard (and previously, Rudd) government has many similarities. Everything her Langolier eyes set themselves upon, they destroy.

The list is unbelievable.

Yes. Storm frequency and intensity has actually gone down the past 30 years. Here’s data collected by Dr. Ryan Maue Ph.D at Florida State University.

Is this the radio interview that cost Julia government?

UPDATE at the bottom 29/6/11

Caught part of this interview driving around work today.

Its devastating.

Nice place, shame if anything were to happen to it.... Guv'ner

Heres the only bit of transcript up now.

The live cattle export ban to Indonesia is the last straw for one of the Territory’s well known cattle families.Bullo River Station, located 800 kilometres south west of Darwin, has been put on the market. The 160,000-hectare property is well known as the home of the late author and cattle queen Sara Henderson. But her daughter Marlee Ranacher says with no income since late last year, the business is no longer viable.”It was a progression of things that led to it.”Last year there was a weight and class restriction set by the Indonesia Government… following a very very long record Wet season.”Then just as we were about to send some cattle off, with 24 hours notice, the entire industry was shut down.”I mean, most people get more notice when they lose a job, don’t they?”How exactly are we going to buy the diesel fuel that pumps water for the cattle?”Where do they go? Who feeds them? It’s really really hard.”

Heres a link to the interview.

http://blogs.abc.net.au/files/marlee-ranacher.mp3

She pins the blame squarely on Julia Gillard, and makes a couple of extremely interesting points.

1: The ban is hitting at the critical time of the year for northern producers. Unless stock leave for feedlots now they will be trapped by the wet season. So even if Julia announces a “solution” in a months time there will be no way of shipping them off.

2: The ABC has colluded with animal rights groups to time this quite deliberately. She makes the claim the ABC has been sitting on the footage since January. I will send a query to 4 corners on this but dont expect an answer.

3: The land will be overstocked massively soon. There will be 2 seasons worth of cattle on the same land.

4: The excess cattle are unsaleable due to the 350kg weight limit on cattle. What will happen?

5: A whole seasons cattle will have to be shot.

I can’t emphasise enough listen to this interview, if you are strapped for time just listen to the last 1/2.

Its heartbreaking, Gillard and her green/4 corners mates should be pilloried for this, the deliberate destruction of a whole industry. Thousands out of work directly, and many, many more businesses ruined, truckies, helicopter musterers, feed lot owners. All ruined. Once that infrastructure is gone it will take decades to get back…. or Julia could declare it a national park… Just for Bob.

If you dont choke up hearing her say “we have to shoot them”… well you must be a greenie.

UPDATE: Bob Brown has announced his paries plans to completely stop ALL live exports.

From His speech to the national press club:

  • Rachel Siewert’s Live Animal Export (Slaughter) Prohibition Bill would stop the export of live animals for slaughter now – not in three years as in the Xenophon-Wilkie bill. Export of live animals too often ends up in cruelty and it also ships Australian jobs and profits off-shore;

Agreed, Jill Singer: the nonsense has to stop

Jill Singer supports a carbon (dioxide!) tax. Unfortunately, she shows a complete ignorance of the real science behind the politics.

THE “debate” over a carbon tax in Australia has become high farce.

Indeed it has. The Left seem to think that taxing the bejesus out of a trace gas will somehow save a planet that doesn’t need saving. Jill and her ilk fail to realise CO2 is only a minor greenhouse gas at that. It makes up only 0.04% of our atmosphere. Most of it is natural. The sceptical side has man-made CO2 at 3% or about 0.001% of our atmosphere. The alarmist side puts man-made CO2 at ten times higher. But so what? That means man-made CO2 would occupy 0.01% of our atmosphere.

There’s no way Man’s small contribution to a minor greenhouse trace gas – yet an essential gas, most of it naturally occurring – can be the main driver of climate. That hypothesis is, to use Jill’s words, a “high farce”.

During the reign of the eeeevil HoWARd regime a asylum seeker vessel the SIEV X (suspected illegal entry vessel 10) foundered in international/Indonesian waters with great loss of life.

Refugee advocates and Labour pollies were in arms about it for years, school “learning projects”, etc. Culminating in a shocking book accusing the Australian government of deliberately sinking the vessel (which won awards from state governments), and the territory government of Canberra erecting their own memorial (covered by legislation in the territory parliament) on the shores of lake Burley Griffin.

Acres of print and hours of angst all aimed at demonizing the Howard government. Id hate to accuse those involved of politically motivated moral grandstanding… much.

Heres the results for the search SIEV X memorial

Fast forward to a few months back and the wrecking of  SIEV 221 on the coast of Christmas island with subsequent loss of life. I thought Id have a google for a memorial…

Nothing.. lots on the disaster, nothing on a memorial (unless its well hidden)

Is it too much to ask lefties to be a little less selective in their moral outrage?

Hey Lefties – Got Yer #NewTone Right Here!

From the tolerant open-minded Left who keep lecturing us on the importance of striving for a more civil tone:

UPDATE: To preempt any complaints that I shouldn’t be giving these bile-spewing haters any more oxygen, for the most part I agree.  But in this case, this particular tweet was just the last straw.  Coming up with the most demeaning insult against Miranda Devine seems to be the new sport on Twitter, and there comes a point when these people need exposing.

Whodunnit?

Background…

Australia’s Carbon Tax: Brought To You By Julia’s Ratchet-Jawed Purveyors Of Monkey-Doodle And Baked Wind

In honour of The Labor-Green Carbon Tax They Promised We Wouldn’t Have, let’s revisit my favourite part of the lecture PJ O’Rourke delivered to the Centre for Independent Studies (@CISOZ) in Sydney a couple of years ago:

America has wound up with a charming leftist as a president. And this scares me. This scares me not because I hate leftists. I don’t. I have many charming leftist friends. They’re lovely people – as long as they keep their nose out of things they don’t understand. Such as making a living.

When charming leftists stick their nose into things they don’t understand they become ratchet-jawed purveyors of monkey-doodle and baked wind. They are piddlers upon merit, beggars at the door of accomplishment, thieves of livelihood, envy coddling tax lice applauding themselves for giving away other people’s money. They are the lap dogs of the poly sci-class, returning to the vomit of collectivism. They are pig herders tending that sow-who-eats-her-young, the welfare state. They are muck-dwelling bottom-feeders growing fat on the worries and disappointments of the electorate. They are the ditch carp of democracy.

And that’s what one of their friends says.

Although no one would ever accuse anyone in Australia’s current LaborGreen government (‘Seriously. Just look at them’) of being “charming”, the rest fits like a glove.

.

Update: We ask our Australian readers to ‘Just Say No to Monkey-Doodle and Baked Wind’ by signing this petition (5000+ signatures so far and counting) sponsored by Menzies House.  And if you’re on Twitter, please follow & support @MenziesHouse, @NoCarbonTax and Community Organiser par excellence @Tim_Andrews. Cheers.

Bob Ellis :

“More left wing figures though have been successfully killed. JFK. RFK. The Reverend King. His mother. Malcolm X. Olaf Palme. Salvador Allende. Hugh Gaitskell. Steve Biko. Che Guevara. Medgar Evers. Dag Hammarskjoeld. Patrice Lumumba. John Lennon. Anna Lindh. Attempts were made on FDR and Harry Truman, left wingers, and Theodore Roosevelt, a trust-busting environmentalist. It is hard to call Lincoln a right-winger. He freed the slaves, and all. Anwar Sadat. Indira Ghandi. Rajiv Ghandi. Mahatma Ghandi.

Please supply a list as long as this of right-wing figures shot at by radical socialists.

Or shot at by anybody.”

Lets go through Bobs list, remembering this is supposed to bolster his argument that lefties are at great risk from raving right wingers with rifles!

JFK: Shot by Communist/ex communist.

RFK. Shot by Palestinian upset by his support for Israel

The Reverend King. Shot by an avowed racist, who coincidentally was assisting ex-democrat George Wallace in his election bid.

His mother. Shot by another African American who claimed he did it because “all Christians are my enemies.”

Malcolm X. Shot by African American nation of Islam members.

Olaf Palme. Theories run from Fascist groups to the red brigades. The person suspected as most likely was a petty criminal and drug dealer.

Salvador Allende. Coup, overthrown by right wing junta, congrats Bob one so far to bolster your right bashing.

Hugh Gaitskell.Died of Lupus, are some claims he was bumped off by the KGB..

Steve Biko. Bumped off by Fascist racist government, Gooood Bob thats 2.

Che Guevara. He was actively fighting to overthrow a government, what were they supposed to do, send him flowers? He ran an execution squad in Cuba, so hes probably not who you should be putting up as an “Innocent”.

Medgar Evers. Killed by KKK member, who, coincidentally was visited in hospital by the local Democrat/segregationist politician.

Dag Hammarskjoeld.” No evidence of a bomb, surface-to-air missile, or hijacking was found”, not a good conspiracy to raise Bob.

Patrice Lumumba. Wanted to bring the Congo over to the USSR during the cold war, killed by his own government with Belgian and possibly US involvement, Ill award you 1/2 for that one Bob.

John Lennon. Killed by a nut, no politics apparently involved.

Anna Lindh.”His motive was not considered political, although Mijailović shortly after his arrest was identified on a photograph as standing in the front row of a crowd adhering to Liberal People’s Party chairman Lars Leijonborg delivering a speech.”  (the party is about as right wing as the ALP)

Attempts were made on FDR: Zangara confessed and stated: “I have the gun in my hand. I kill kings and presidents first and next all capitalists.” Not exactly Any Rand was he?

and Harry Truman: Puetro Rican independence activists, well known republican voters Im sure…

left wingers: An impossibly broad category, but judging by your efforts so fan not as many as you think..

and Theodore Roosevelt: Shot by an insane man, no political outlook apparent.

a trust-busting environmentalist. irrelevant to why he was shot, absolutely.

It is hard to call Lincoln a right-winger: He freed the slaves, and all. So regardless of any other professed politics this one act of virtue make him left wing. Sorry, that wont wash.
Anwar Sadat. Killed by Jihadis. religious assassination.

Indira Ghandi. Shot by Shik extremists incensed about her storming of a temple previously.

Rajiv Ghandi. assassinated by Tamil Tigers, heres one of their statements.”..we pledge our militant solidarity against western imperialism, neo-colonialists, Zionism, racism and other forces of reaction..”
Mahatma Ghandi. Killed by a mentally unbalanced Hindi nationalist upset at Pakistan being granted independence.
2&1/2 out of 22 which can be directly attributed to EEEEVIILL rightwingers, not a good average Bob… Grade: EPIC FAIL

The Pathological dishonesty of the left

Lets start with the headline shall we?

Armed Christians and Muslims clash after Nigeria killings

Gee looks like both sides are hammering each other there eh?

Maybe the sub heading contains more info?

Pastor and five others shot in raids on churches while explosions 300 miles away claim 32 victims

Now If I were a casual reader Id assume the “pastor and 5 others” are the Christian casualties and the  explosions were muslim, otherwise the headline is deceptive right?

Clashes broke out between armed Christian and Muslim groups near the central Nigerian city of Jos yesterday after Christmas Eve bombings in the region killed more than 30 people.

Strange, Christians bombing at Christmas time…?

The tensions are rooted in decades of resentment between indigenous groups, mostly Christian or animist, who are vying for control of fertile farmlands and for economic and political power with mostly Muslim migrants and settlers from the north.

Such a deliberate use of passive words, “migrants”, “settlers”, Still they must all be the same because they are all black, right Mr Guardian writer? If it was ANY white nationality “who are vying for control of fertile farmlands and for economic and political power with mostly white migrants and settlers from the north.” the Guardian would be calling it an invasion and colonialism.

Heres a hint Mr Guardian man, Not all “darkies” are the same, much the same as not all “whities”, “Slant eyes”, or “Curry munchers”.

Your soft racism is nothing of the sort, its just as vile as a neo-nazi knucklehead or KKK man, just expressed in neutral language.

In the north of the country, dozens of armed men attacked a church on Christmas Eve, dragging the pastor out of his home and shooting him dead along with two young choristers rehearsing for a late-night carol service.

“dozens of armed men”, any clue on what motivated this execution of a religious man? If the old South African regime had hauled out Desmond Tutu and shot him dead would they just have been “dozens of armed men” with nothing more said?

The group of about 30 attackers armed with guns and knives also killed two people who were passing by the Victory Baptist church in Maiduguri.

Ahhh, this must be the christian mob….

The assailants left after torching the church and pastor’s house.

Oh, maybe not….

Still Im sure there is some Christian violence mentioned, or the headline is a farce, surely?

At the other end of the city, Reverend Haskanda Jessu of the Church of Christ in Nigeria said three men attacked his church, killing a 60-year-old security guard.

Oh ok then….

Read the whole article at the top link, there is NOTHING like a clash, instead there is one group being repeatedly attacked by another, but in the world of a Guardian writer there is no identifying characteristic of the attacking group… Madness.

A google search with the terms Nigeria Christians attack, comes up with pages of attacks on Christians there, What group could possibly be involved?

PFC Bradley Manning, heres the torture..

As has been reported on many news sites PFC Bradley Manning is apparently so mistreated the UN is going to investigate. ( Id sleep with my bum to the door if I were him, the UN has a certain…reputation)

From the link: “THE UN HAS CONFIRMED it is investigating complaints made by supporters of detained US army soldier Bradley Manning, suspected of supplying confidential US files and military information to WikilLeaks.”

Now Ive run across an interesting website run by an ex-military man now lawyer who specialises in court martial cases. Hes also currently defending Mr Manning. David E. Coombs is his name, and he has a blog of his own.

He has written a piece on his blog which clearly outlines how PFC Manning is treated, and how his day unfolds. Its matter of fact and fairly banal, Mannings biggest hassle will be boredom.

Heres a couple of sections, but please go across and have a look at the full thing.

His cell is approximately six feet wide and twelve feet in length.

The cell has a bed, a drinking fountain, and a toilet.

The guards at the confinement facility are professional. At no time have they tried to bully, harass, or embarrass PFC Manning. Given the nature of their job, however, they do not engage in conversation with PFC Manning.
…..

He is allowed to watch television during the day. The television stations are limited to the basic local stations. His access to the television ranges from 1 to 3 hours on weekdays to 3 to 6 hours on weekends.
……

He is allowed to have any combination of up to 15 books or magazines. He must request the book or magazine by name. Once the book or magazine has been reviewed by the literary board at the confinement facility, and approved, he is allowed to have someone on his approved list send it to him. The person sending the book or magazine to him must do so through a publisher or an approved distributor such as Amazon. They are not allowed to mail the book or magazine directly to PFC Manning.
…..

He is not allowed to have a pillow or sheets. However, he is given access to two blankets and has recently been given a new mattress that has a built-in pillow.
…..

When PFC Manning goes to sleep, he is required to strip down to his boxer shorts and surrender his clothing to the guards. His clothing is returned to him the next morning

…..

So as you can see his daily routine is banal, and boring, but torture??

The Lawyers blog has been infested by shrieking moonbats of the most fantastic varieties, the comments section is a hoot.  Some highlights under the fold…

Global Terror Alliances

The Left versus Islam?

Not really. Not yet, anyway.

The FBI arrests affirm an emerging terror alliance between American-based leftists, Islamic terror organizations, Colombia’s FARC, and Irish Republican groups.

However, the Koran’s Surah Al Ma’idah Ch. 5 V.32 states “that if anyone kills any other human being, whether it be a Muslim or non-Muslim, unless it be for murder or for spreading corruption in the land, it is though he has killed the whole of humanity… so killing any other human being…it is prohibited in Islam.”

But what if I, you, and/or the West is deemed to be “spreading corruption”? Considering we don’t adhere to the Koran, wouldn’t that be the case?

I knew that slimey Cheney SOB was involved in 9/11. How involved is anyone’s guess, but that’s not the point. He was involved.

The Greens’ economic policies translated

To go through all of them would be most tedious, and half of them are just blather anyway, but here’s a few of their more noteworthy domestic economic policies (as opposed to their global wet dream) translated in bold. And since they’ll be our new overloads come next July, and since Julia has done her post-election deal, perhaps it’s a good idea to continue having the look the MSM hasn’t at more of their policies.

Principles:

3. the free market economy, by externalising the environmental and social costs of greenhouse gas emissions is creating the greatest market failure of all time, namely climate change.

OK. So what’s the alternative to a free market economy?

Lobely Lefties

I posted this at my own personal site yesterday, but since no one else is posting here, I thought it’d be worth a run.

Hyar she blows…

This was first brought to general attention yesterday. It’s about halfway down the page. LOBES!!! After further research, it is clear there definitely IS something between Leftards and their ears. It is clear that there IS more to it than the well-known Lefty head tilt. Photo analysis proves this to be true. That’s NSW Green Party would-be senator Lee Rhiannon. Her parents were commies. However, Reds under the beds with lobes like robes is not by any means a one-off phenomenon. More photographic evidence under the fold.
